They look like real plates until you touch them. Ordered for our backyard wedding and really impressed with the quality and the delivery time.EDIT: Finally opened the day of the wedding. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Half of the plates were broken and the other half were defective with the silver coating either missing or all over the plates. Would ask for a refund but they went in the trash.

I ordered these for my parents 50th Anniversary and they came better than I expected from the picture. They were a nice color ivory and in the product online picture it shows a black/grey shadow around the gold trim but that is not there. The gold is a nice color gold. The plates have a shiny swirl and a matte swirl around the edge. You can't really see that good from the product online picture either. Hopefully you can see it better in my pictures. I like the set even more in person. They are sturdy and held up very well.

Using these plates for our Easter dinner. Very pleased with the look and the feel of them. Transaction went smooth and am very happy with product.

The plates are beautiful and look exactly how pictured. The only worry I have is that they are very thin material and I worry they will not hold up once we have food on them or they may crack easier if someone is too forceful using a knife to cut their food.

These are very pretty, but not as sturdy as I had expected for "premium" plastic. I actually wanted to return them, but my future daughter-in-law loved the look so much, we decided to keep them....after all it is her wedding.

We used these plates for Easter dinner so there would be easy clean up. We have used the same brand, different designs for other holidays and they work great! They are sturdy enough to cut on with a sharp knife and pretty enough that they don't look like paper or look cheap.

I used the smaller size for appetizers at a small Christmas gathering. 5 out of 8 broke around the edges while in use. Very embarrassing.

bought this and the gold plastic ware, pink and gold twist straws. Beautiful together
