This is NOT a hi def webcam, as stated in the description. The maximum resoloution is 640 x 480. NOT HI DEF! It is not difficult to configure if you're fairly computer savvy, but BEWARE. DESCRIPTION IS NOT TRUE!

Horrible
I am hoping to save someone else the misfortune of wasting their money. This camera has so many flaws I don't know where to start. Lets start with IE active X. (1) I have tried on 4 computers to access this with IE and all refuse to install the active x control because it has been reported as harmful. So I was forced to use chrome which isnt a big problem if the interface had been tested on Chrome. It looks like my kids wrote the interface (2) PTZ presets do not work at all. You cannot set or call them up. (3) The video update speed is so slow that using the PTZ controls are almost impossible. (4) The manual is useless which I honestly expected but how about at least getting the default password correct. I had to google to find out what it was. (5) Still haven't figured out how to play the video files recorded to the sd card. Nothing I've tried so far works and the site listed in the manual to download the software doesn't exist. Tried to save a fews bucks and buy a foscam knockoff and got taken instead. Please trust me on this folks. Look elsewhere for a camera.
