The overall quality is fine. However, In assembling the bars, themselves, the holes did not line up. If it was any worse I would have had to widen a couple of the holes to make it fit. As is, I had to use two shorter screws of my own because the standard screws could not be tightened all the way due to the angle they needed to go at since the holes didn't line up. The literature warns for professional installation only, probably because the specifications for the holes are not great. Also, I would recommend a washer for each attachment point but it did not come with enough washers. The end pieces of the bars are plastic, this added flexibility actually helps to get the bars lined up properly on the roof. There was not really a problem with how they fit on the roof, just a little sliding and bending of the plastic and then it snapped in place tight. For the price I am satisfied and they look great on the vehicle.

The instructions are missing several steps. The pieces are not labeled properly and some of the rubber feet were not matched up exactly. One screw was a struggle to put in.They are very, very noisy!!! I'm not sure what car these other people were driving, but it's very noisy on a CRV!!!Just received Honda genuine cross bars. They come as two pieces ready to install on roof. Unlike the Dinorack, where you get 6 pieces and have to put them together before mounting.

These were pretty easy to install and only took me about 15mins. They work great for securing our luggage bag to. The instructions leave a little to be desired and we actually got 3 left side and 1 right side part. It made attaching one of the bars a little tougher but not impossible, hence the 4 stars.

Screw stripped out while putting it together and had to drill and re-tap threads. For the price point it is not bad but it took way longer to i stall due to bad threads. Do not force it together just run a tap to clean out the threads.

The noise from these racks on my 2013 Honda CRV is very loud. Even driving at low speeds around 25-30 mph the wind whistles through the bars. These will be returned ASAP, do not purchase unless you enjoy noise.

fits my 2014 crv perfectly. looked like it was easy to install, watching brother and boyfriend. haven't bought anything for it yet (bike or kayak things) just used it to hold roof bag on and it worked. no noticeable noise or lost gas mileage.
