Unless u think you are missing out on .005 more gforce, or much better turns or thrust, then spare your wallet and go with these…they definitely do the trick and you will not notice a difference…been surfing since age 13, about to turn 50. Besides, fins are the biggest ripoff in the surfing world.

FCS2 Reactor fins for $34 off retail price? They've got to be knock offs right? After opening the Amazon envelope and seeing that they were shipped in plastic sleeves inside a plastic bag instead of some sort of FCS packaging I just shook my head(I did make sure at the time of purchase that there are free returns). That being said these fins look and feel like legitimate FCS2 fins. These are probably made by the factory that has the FCS contract but not being sold thru FCS or any of their official distributors. Note that these are fiberglass REINFORCED fins which means they're a polymer blend with fiberglass added. So, yes, they feel like plastic. The biggest discrepancy on the Amazon page are the measurements. The specs on the FCS site for the Reactor fins in medium are: base-4.34"(110mm) depth-4.57"(116mm) area-14.96"(9650mm). The measurements I got on my cheap micrometer are in the photos. In the end I got what I was looking for: a smaller center fin that would loosen my board up just a little.Edit: These are advertised as the Reactor model but are actually Performer fins. I'm coming to this conclusion because the fins I received have the sweep degree stamped as 33.7 degrees and not 31.9.

These fins work just as well as the big $$$ fins.Used on both a 6'8 round tail and 6'4 fish.
