This is a great lock, if you have something valuable you need to invest in a good lock and this is one. The body is heavy and strong and the shackle is well protected. It’s more expensive than other padlocks but we’ll worth the investment.

Was a bit too easy to open using a lock pick. Had it open in 4.65 seconds. But the overall the lock construction was decent. Just wish the lock cylinder was interchangeable.

Trailer security

Had this now for about 6 months. Feels a good solid build quality, chunky and heavy for its size, came with two keys. Been fixed to outdoor shed and has been lightly oiled to protect against rain rust etc. Works just fine no sign of any problems, locks and unlocks with ease. Just what is needed from outdoor padlock.

First of all the shackles are not boron like in the picture but hardened steel second package arrived opened, third this is comes with a 4 pin tumbler which can be picked in less than a minute

Decent weight and looks the part, but now after a couple of months it doesn't lock. It clicks, but you can open it by pulling sharply downward, making it essentially useless, unless you want a stage prop or hate carrying keys.This was during occasional use, not using it every day or anything.

This padlock has an impressive specification. However, it was returned because the keys were almost impossible to insert and turn. Maybe they would have loosened in time. But I wasn't prepared to take the risk that a key might snap in the lock, so this product was returned immediately. A very disappointing performance from an expensive product.

Wow, I bought 2 of these, they are strong and heavy and should be weatherproof.Update.After almost 2 years of use, with only the minimal maintenance, ( an occasional squirt of any lubricant to hand at the time)the locks are performing faultlessly, one has slight surface rust, a wipe with an oily rag will sort that out.Still an excellent buy.

Ordered the lock yesterday and it arrived today 24/08/14, considering it is Bank Holiday Monday tomorrow, was very impressed with the swift delivery.The lock is very sturdy and I am sure this will deter thieves from bothering to attempt to break into my shed.Very very nice product and I would recommend

my new shed needed a padlock for the steel door bar and this perfect for it, very well made as you would expect from squire and with a shackle guard as well anyone would find it very hard to get in my shed now.

Having used this lock for a couple of months through snow and rain, it still operates smoothly and shows no sign of corrosion. It comes with two keys and the shrouded shackle design seems very secure and strong. Coupled with a high security hasp with a boron staple, no one will be breaking into my shed any time soon.

Seems sturdy enough and is performing OK so far and if it continues to do so for a couple of years at least, I'll be happy.

Purchased this about 3 months ago, no longer locks properly, catches occasionally, sadly occasionally isn't good enough, came to return it but seemingly there is only about a 3 month return window? Has also weathered very badly, avoid and spend your hard earned cash on a proper lock!!

Live right out in the country and need a secure shed lock -this one is really sturdy and we are really pleased with it
