The Intimate Lover is the story of a woman on the verge of getting married to her boyfriend, even though their relationship has gotten painfully dull and she hasn't felt any excitement in seven years. One day this woman meets a handsome stranger at an art gallery, and he makes a bold proposal to her - spend a day with him as though they were lovers. Terrified, intrigued, anxious and excited, she accepts the man's proposal. She does not tell him her name in fear of becoming emotionally attached, but after the level of excitement and intimacy she shares with him, will this nameless couple be able to contain their temptations?

Korean Cinema...
There have been a couple of movies that have really surprised me over the years and if you're into Korean cinema this is kind of a little hidden gem. It's not a new story but it's told in a different way from a Korean perspective. I'm currently studying Korean and it had enough story to keep me interested and not overly complicated so I could keep up. There was some intimacy and skin in it which it seems Asian women just have this knack for being beautiful on screen. However, it wasn't porn by any means. Over all I would recommend it but be sure you understand the culture or are wiling to learn a little about culture before watching it.

Good film and dvd
The DVD was brand new considering it's affordability. Only thing about it is the quality seemed a bit slow-and-go ,for lack of a better description, as if watching a movie on your computer.Otherwise it was clear and the subtitles could've been larger.

A good movie.
This movie has a good story line. The only draw back, would be, you have to read the subtitles in order to know what they are saying to each other. There is a lot of nudity and sexual situations. If you don't mind reading the captions and nudity, then this movie is good movie to watch. I would give it four and half stars.
