I don't think you can go wrong with any Tim Holtz product, I certainly have never been disappointed with anything I have purchased with his name on it. It fits all styles of crafting from the simple to intermediate to professional.If you ever have a chance to take a class with him, jump on it! You will learn so much and he makes it so easy. Visit his blog. Even if his artistic style is not yours, you can very easily use his products or lessons to create something amazing in your own style.

Great for adding texture effects to paintings. Easy to use, thin plastic.. I use acrylics and oils with good results, applied with stencil brushes or fine makeup sponges for a finer surface area. It's hard to find contemporary patterns, and this dot-screen effects looks very cool with graffiti, photo or mid century designs.

I love all my Tim Holtz Layered Stencils! There are so many different choices that you can use alone or mix and match them together. They are always high quality. I also love that you can use the hole in the top to easily store them for easy access.

Great for adding texture to my mixed media art

The Tim Holtz Stencils are a great addition to my art studio - I have used these with 2D art projects and also plan to use them with clay to push slip through to make a textured pattern. These are a great size too - almost 8" x 4" of surface pattern.

I use the Bubble stencil a lot in my mixed media art projects. It is perfect for adding texture and interest.

I suppose it works well, but my opinion is that of an amateur, I have just started experimenting with stenciling.
