These are some nice little fussy cutting scissors however I like my Cutter Bees better which seem to make a smoother cut. I compared three different Tim Holtz scissors because I had to do some heavy duty fussy cutting for my holiday cards this year. I started with my Cutter Bees which do an excellent job; however, the handles are so small and aren't comfortable with my arthritic hand. The 5" TH scissors are much more comfortable and the reason I was drawn to them for the big handles; they do get the job done. The 7" detail scissors are comfortable to use too but comparatively don't do as good a job as the 5" detail scissors. I also bought the small recoil scissors and I think they're my favorite but they don't do as good a job as the Cutter Bees, so I'll keep practicing with them because they're very comfortable to use.In summary, Cutter Bees are the best for fussy cutting but the handles are too small. I wish they'd make them with bigger handles. The 5" detail scissors are very good and very comfortable. To avoid the serration on the paper, turn them upside down so the serration will be on the part you're cutting out which goes for the 7" ones as well. The 7" detail scissors didn't work well for me for fussy cutting but are very comfortable. The small recoil scissors are fantastic but really not suitable for super intricate cutting, but like I said I'm going to keep practicing with them because maybe it's my technique.

I got these to use on intricate felt cutouts with a less than enthusiastic hope they’d actually work. Nothing I’ve tried has handled the small detail work. . . . . UNTIL THESE!!!! Holy cow! “Hot knife thru soft butter” doesn’t even get close to how well these work on wool felt! They are incredibly sharp, comfortable to hold and easily maneuverable on tiny, tiny pieces. I HIGHLY recommend these for felt embroidery work!!!

These work so well and are so much more comfortable to use. I had the smaller ones that I love and always used before but this size is perfect for me.

I bought these quality scissors July 2017, 7 years ago for the large easy grip handles and precision sharp blades. I use them for cutting hair. They are amazing scissors and cut cleanly. 7 years is a lot of haircuts, yet they are still cut your finger sharp! Great value and so easy to hold especially if you have medium to large hands. 🌟

These scissors are great for fussy cutting and fine detail. Comfortable and cut well.

I do a lot of sewing and these work perfect since my thumb and fingers don't bend as well to use my regular scissor handles anymore. They are sharp, great for clipping threads, curves and small trimming. I want a pair at each machine now as part of my basic sewing tools ❣️

Arrived quickly in excellent condition as advertised. The serrated edge takes a little bit to get used to but the large handles make up for the adjustment. They cut well
