does any one know if there will be further issues or was it cancelled
it is March 18 on the 3rd day of a lock downI just finished reading The Woods in total.(if you have teenagers or teach you have to read this series)now I just finished volume 1 of injection ,what can I say it is not for everyone It may be one of the most complicatedintelligent books out there. warren Ellis alongside Grant Morrison Nail Gaiman and Alan Moore are arguably the most smart comic writers out there right now. the main characters a black James Bond a black D.R who a dark skin super Sherlock Holmes and a lead female anti hero that kicks magical technological folkloric ass with her skinny baggy eyes sleep deprived poorly fed self. I have never seen an anti hero so determined and driven as her.what can I say great plot great characterization and very good art...I hope I will see more of them.Perhaps this Corona virus epidemic can lead to a future plot for Injection. well its back to reading Netflix and amazon prime be safe.

A unique conspiracy theory story in the same vein as Hellboy. Well crafted and opens up lots of possibilities. Slick, clean artwork and Warren Ellis writes as crazy as ever

Warren Ellis still has it! After decades of comic writing, his tales are just as relevant, fascinating, and intelligent as ever!
Of the many famous comic authors from the UK, Warren Ellis always delivers monumental ideas and stories. I am also impressed on how his writing has evolved and stayed so relevant and fascinating over the years. Injection is another addition to Ellis' great track record. Although Injection starts with a somewhat complicated and slow start, the writing, art, and content are definitely building up to create a wonderful philosophical sci-fi series. As usual, Ellis' writing is stellar and one of my favorite aspects of his books are how he ties the stories of seemingly unrelated characters together. Injection and Trees are both Ellis' current ongoing works from Image comics, both of which I was incredibly impressed by and I also can't wait for the second volume of each. I believe the second volume of this series will exceed the build up and introduction to the story expressed in this first volume. A perfect edition to the collection of any sci-fi, philosophy, or fan of Ellis' work.

A little confusing
I'm hooked enough to complete the series, but the first volume jumpsaround too much and doesn't give us much d etail o understand. empathise with the characters. Hopefully the nextudome will bring it together.

Masterpiece-In-Progress
As a longtime fan of Ellis's work, this feels to me like he's really putting his familiar ideas and structures together in the most sophisticated and deepest form yet: another multi-level story of a team of extraordinary people facing a cosmic derangement that corrupts both from within and without across time and a space. The seriousness of the piece really impressed me. The violence isn't for comedy or sheer spectacle -- it lacerates our reality from the hidden web of atomic structure and archaic human psyche. The psychological, theological, and cosmological are approached as a unity in which humanity's false dissection into discrete parts is coming back to haunt it. Mankind's monkey mind of love and hate fools itself again and again even as it's frontal lobes attempt to manipulate higher forms -- even the course of time itself. Ellis is magnificent in developing story, character, and theme here.I've never anticipated the next chapter in Ellis's work with such eagerness. The Masterbuilder is at work on his Masterpiece.

I honestly wasn't sure what I was getting into by buying this book, but since Amazon kept on recommending it I gave in. The premise is actually fascinating to me and the story moves along at a steady pace, although it tends to be a bit on the slow side. The artwork is crisp and the character designs are all distinguished, and the layouts tend to be a bit blocky but it moves the story along fairly well. The coloring tends to be more stylized than anything else (for example, flat single colors for a panel's background in a flashback). Overall I do look forward to seeing where this series goes and I'll eagerly await the next volume.

Decent story
This was bought on a whim at Amazon's recommendations, and liked the story premise enough to buy the sequel. I will say that the artwork is not my cup of tea, but overall, not bad.

Fantastic art and a story that screws with your mind
Technology is stagnating. The risks of catastrophic economic meltdown are rising. So what do the powers-that-be do? Why, of course they dabble in a little magic and end up seriously screwing up the fabric of reality. This is literally the most sensical thing I can say about this book, and that fact alone should be enough to warrant a read. It's not often that I'm reading something that can stop me in my tracks, but Injection managed to do just that once I started wrapping my mind about the complexity of what happened, and the consequences involved. The art is fantastic--some of it manages to seriously complement the scope of the story, like when readers are first taken outside their comfort zone of the "real world" and placed into this Other Place. The coloring is fantastic. The main characters' development builds slowly and it's not all quite there just yet, but the arts helps portray them as people who seem to seriously understand the consequences of their actions.Actions they're not too comfortable with.

Smart Psychological Thriller
This was a great book. I've really grown to love Warren Ellis' writing, he writes assuming his readers are intelligent enough to figure stuff out for themselves, or at least put in the effort to read between the lines, which I appreciate. He gives you just enough information to keep you hooked and wanting to unravel the mystery. Injection is a really cool concept and I'm really excited to see where it goes. And I can't say enough about Declan Shalvey's art, it is absolutely phenomenal and suits the story so well. I also love how each of the five characters are based off popular British pop-culture figures (Sherlock Holmes, James Bond, Doctor Who...etc). Looking forward to digging into volume 2!

Most excellent beginning.
Clever writing, fantastic art, and a story which pulls together several themes as a group of people with extraordinary talents are introduced. I cannot wait for Volume 2 to be released in July. This could be the start of something very wonderful.
