This covers my “bald areas” very well. Also increases volume. I set the powder with hairspray and do not scratch my scalp after applying. Just beware that as a powder, it can be VERY messy and can stain clothes. I use it with black ring pulled up (keeping bristles together) which I find controls the powder from flying everywhere. I make sure to keep it off of face, etc. Needs to be cleaned off undesired areas with damp rag. Use carefully!

I love the merlot shade for my maroon hair. Can be tricky and messy. Use a tissue on your forehead if touching up your hairline.
