3.6L Pentastar thermostat
OK, let me first start off by saying I have a 2014 Dodge Charger SXT blacktop package. I have done some major upgrades to my car. Suspensions, engine tuning, exhaust..... Soon to supercharge it. So, I have been looking for a thermostat to keep my engine cooler. Not a lot of choices out there. Stock thermostat is 203° F and during the summer here at the coast of North Carolina, it gets rather hot. I found this thermostat and even though it is for the Jeep 3.6L, the housing is the same. I have installed a Tazer Gen2 in my car that unlocks all SRT performance pages and data tracking. After installing the thermostat I went out for a test. At speed it maintains a temp of 185° F. At WOT it does go up just a bit to 187-189°F. But, coming off Wot it does drop right back down to 185°. In the city (stop light to stop light) it does stay around 185°. At stop it does heat up to about 201°, but as soon as the fan kick on it does drop to about 190-192°. Upon driving again it does cool back down to 185° within 20-30 seconds. So, the main thing is at speed to WOT it stays below 190°F which is the main reason for getting this. The engine now stays on average of 15-20° cooler than normal. With my K&N CAI, my intake temp is about 85-90°F with an outdoor temperature of 75°F. That is about 60-80° cooler than with the factory air box. It is recommended to get the Diablo Trinity Sport tuner so you can lower you cooling fan engagement. I have mine set at 190° and got this setting from Ripp Superchargers, the company that is going to put the supercharger in my car. I am turning my car into a custom SRT6 that will have more horsepower than the 6.4L with 425-450bhp. I am looking at around 475-500bhp. I am currently at 315bhp (stock is 240-245bhp). I differently recommend this for anyone looking to do mods and need a cooler engine. Hope all this helps.

Overheating after 2 weeks of use
After the installation the thermostat worked fine, but after approximately 2 weeks of use it failed and caused the hot warning light to came on in the jeep. Since I was 30 miles from home, it caused me a $180 towing service expense and another $50 uber expense. Just be careful, mine work fine for only a few weeks and then got damage. I was lucky that I was close to home when that issue happend.

It is difficult to expect long-term durability of this product.
The media could not be loaded. I have now purchased this product a total of 2 times. The first was in July 2020.It broke after 7 months of installation. Now the product begins to open above 100 degrees Celsius. But once again, I was looking forward to the performance of the Mishimoto thermostat and made my second purchase in April 2021.But now, seven months later, it started working at 105 degrees Celsius on November 19, 2021.For reference, I installed a separate thermometer on the upper radiator hose so I could judge the coolant flow. Please purchase carefully. For reference, I have applied for a warranty from Mishimoto. There is no answer from them yet.

Does not work.
This is absolute a waste of money. Only lasted 2weeks and then my JK started to overheat. Refitted OEM problem solved.

Not worth it
Put this in our jeep and it worked great for about 2 months. Then left me stranded on the side of the road

Definitely worth it
This product is keeping my charger around 190 to 200. Mine usually is around 219 due to a problem i have. I dont have the money to fix the problem but with this thermostat i can drive my car for the time being and not have to worry about it. I have the 3.6 and it fit so dont be scared it wont.
