Saha Sauces Harissa Fire 17.6 Oz

I was expecting this sauce to be a little hotter and not sweet...However I found that it really was quite delicious as a sauce for chicken because of this sweetness to it, it really added and extra flavor to my meat...Definitely great for the bbq!!!

I don't know what happened with other folks who didn't like this. I loved this sauce. It was fragrant and flavorful and properly spicy. Not burn-your-face-off spicy, but keep-your-mind-on-your-business hot. It was hot enough to be fun without being inedible. I was really disappointed to find it's not available on Amazon any more. If it's available anywhere else on the interwebz, I'm going to buy them up.I have tubes of DEA Foods harissa paste and it's just pointless, less hot and NO flavor profile. It's hot nothing.

I received this item at a discount for my honest review. ALL opinions are my own! First of all I want to say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE that this sauce is Non GMO, Gluten Free and Vegan! I had no idea when I offered to review the item that that was the case and I am on a new journey of learning to eat a plant based diet. While I like and enjoy a good bit of heat with my food every now and again it is not usually my thing but it IS my husbands and sons thing all the way! They have been eating it on and with everything I have made since we received it. It has Pure cane sugar listed as the sweet ingredient but to me it tastes of honey. Personally I love honey so that was a pleasant thing for me. My son swears it tastes a bit more like a BBQ sauce and that does not bother him one bit. My husband just loves hot sauces and peppers so it could taste like nothing but HEAT and he would eat it. When I tasted it, I first dabbed a bit on my tongue to test the Heat of it and it really lit up the spot on my tongue that touched it and then it slowly spread around a bit. Good sauce and would buy again as it has done its job and pleased my family.

Move over Sriracha! It's time to share the spotlight! Dudddeeeeeeeee!!!! This stuff is amazing. Wonderful spice, not too hot, not too mild. Perfect little kick to it. And the blend of harissa spices is spot on. It's really hard to describe what Harissa flavors are unless you;ve tasted them. But this sauce is spicy, smokey, bold but not overpowering, deliciousness. I absolutely love this. I've used it as a condiment. I've used it as a marinade. I'm tempted to drink it in a Bloody Mary but haven't gotten that far yet. I'm sure it would be great. I am putting this on everything I can think of. Vegetables, MEat, grains, potatoes, ect. I had some the other day on chinese honey chicken... $#!$#!!!!! Delicious! Go buy it now. NOW! RIGHT NOW! I received this at a discount in exchange for an honest review..... But I'll be buying this for as long as I can because it's just amazing. Sriracha is my go to sweet and spicy flavor booster. Harissa Fire is now my go to smoky and spicy flavor booster.

This stuff is amazing. Wonderful spice!I don't find it quite as hot as Sriracha. It also has more complexity of flavor - sweet, smoke, and heat are balanced. It looks like ketchup and the first ingredient is tomato sauce so I was a bit worried it would be a glorified ketchup product. While it does have that element, particularly in appearance, the tomatoes really just provide a base for the flavors.This Harissa is perfect alternative. It's just a little hotter and a little sweeter than Siracha. And the taste is slightly different -- a wonderful change of pace.I would recommend this product as a value for the price! I did receive a slight discount for honest feedback. If you are in the market this product could work well for you! You won't regret buying these I assure you.
