I have an older GPS which is still good enough to get me where I need to go but there is no good place for it to be stable in my car. This holds the GPS as well as my phone in a convenient location which I can both see and hear. Very simple, no problems getting on or off the car vent thus far. Easily stores in center console. Very happy with this purchase.

Cheapy little thing, doesn't really grab the vent, so be careful where you install it. Also put phone in this holder first, after removing it from any kind of protective case. This makes this item a bit less portable.

depending on how your vents are set into your dash it can be difficult to position. Additionally some cases may make it difficult to fit into the holder. My LG G3 in an Otter Box fits, but barely.

got this for my husband. after three uses one of the clips broke. It still works but it's not a s sturdy

I've tried numerous other brands and designs of vehicle cell phone holders. Company supplied van has very deeply sloped windshield. Suction mount not practical because of the slope and it appears in mandatory dash cam. This little unit clips onto a dash mounted a/c vent, but, unlike other holders, has almost no adjustability.I've had issues with other products failing because I had to swap them out everytime I changed vehicles. This holder has very few moving parts, seems to be made of a durable plastic and actually works as described.Very simple item. Clips onto a vane in the a/c vent and is pretty much, flat with the dashboard. It does block the outflow from the vent considerably. If you have a space around an a/c vent about the size of your phone, this item should do the job for you.

Did not work in my car vent. It was advertised as being "incredibly easy" and it seemed to be that way, only I could not figure out how to make it wider to fit my vent. Maybe It was me, or maybe my packaging was missing something. The company was happy to refund me though, and I gave my phone holder as a gift.

Great little phone holder, especially for the price. I now put my phone in there all of the time, even when I'm not using the navigation. It just pops right onto the vent. The only thing I'm realizing is that one that swivels would be nice if you want it to face towards you more, but I don't mind at all not having that. My vent is super close to me, so I can see the screen no problem without it tilting towards me. Easy to put the phone in and take out too, but not as easy as a "snap in" style would be (if those even exist).
