Great to keep track of hospital room visitors
I bought this for my dad's nursing home room. When he went into hospice I almost returned it. He never remembers who goes to see him. Instead I wrote the date I went to visit him and put it aside. When I came back a week later, everyone who visited him wrote something with their date. It was full! It was amazing that I went from feeling a bit alone, or thinking that he was not getting visitors, when he actually was! Now we have to erase lines to keep up with it. I would even buy a bigger one. If he has a bad day or a good day, we all know it. WE ARE A TEAM. The best thing I ever bought.

Not worth it
Well this is no good. If you try it with the marker it comes with, sure there’s no problem. But I purchased expo markers at the same time and they literally melt right off the board. I couldn’t take a picture before the lettering started melting. This is fine until the marker is came with runs out. It was cheap so I won’t be returning it. But it’s honestly not worth it.

Yeah. It’s a whiteboard, y’all.
It’s just about the cheapest option I could find, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do, which is sit there and show silly pictures and messages I put on it to make my husband laugh. I didn’t have a problem with the expo markers I tried with it, but usually that’s the luck of the draw with markers- a whiteboard is pretty much a whiteboard. I painted the back to be a chalkboard, as well, and put it on a table in the living area with a book stand (one of those that have arms at the bottom to hold pages of cookbooks or textbooks with directions open and upright so you can look at it without touching the pages or lifting it, or just display a certain page) and turn it around depending on which I feel like using. I’ll probably add a thin edge of cork-board material to the chalkboard with some thumbtacks in it using double sided tape.I don’t know if hanging it would work for me, I’d probably drill two holes at the top corners and use crafting string to hang it on a command hook to be able to turn it around, but there’s no real hanging hardware or holes/loops/hooks on the back or anything, just cardboard. Which, probably makes it pretty easy to add whatever you want to hang it with as far as materials go. A magnet, clip, self adhesive Velcro dots, a little hook at the top, etc., and since there’s technically no ‘top’, that’s up to you as well. I love customizing things, so I used washi tape on the plastic frame to make a detailed border. So, yeah, it’s basically great because you can leave it as is or use it for an easy but cool and useful project; super customizable because it’s inexpensive and extremely light/portable and you don’t really care too much about breaking it or anything (which hasn’t happened but I’d bet crafting glue or scotch tape would put it back the way it was just fine - it’s reeeally light.), it ... can be written on with whiteboard markers, which is literally all it is expected to do, magnets stick to it as promised; that’s 100% and then some. I recommend it (even if the name pun is kind of painful in that groan-half laugh way).

Absolute junk
Look, I realize this thing costs $5, but it’s basically worthless. I applied all four magnets as instructed, but applying any pressure (i.e. “writing”) on any part of the board causes the other end of the board to pop off the fridge, sending the entire unit to the floor. I have since hot-glued even stronger magnets to the back (which is frustrating because i don’t work at the dry erase board factory), and now the unit stays attached to the fridge but slides down due to its weight. It is currently being held up by the two marker magnets included with the item that are supposed to be for use on the board. The frame has already cracked from drops to the floor and i doubt this unit will last a week.

Mine came bent
It erases easily and but mine came with a pretty severe bend in it so it does not sit flat on my desk. It is supported in the back with just a simple piece of cardboard so it makes sense why it would bend so easily. It is annoying when writing on it since it keeps shifting and tapping since it is not perfectly flat. I also wanted to mount it on the wall initially but it would not stick flat against the wall and one corner stayed lifted. If it was flat it would be a 4-5 star product, but the bend makes it kind of a nuisance to use.

Good product and excellent courtesy of Always Honest!
I bought this board because I wanted to be able to do quick math problems without wasting paper. I researched A LOT to see which brand was the best and even which one had the best reviews with the best overall points (0 to 5 in Amazon). There's no best brand out there, but I can surely say that the Board Dudes it's a good brand of boards. One thing that also got me impressed was the courtesy of the lady of "Always Honest". So I get my package even before the date they were supposed to deliver to me, which was really cool. But my package arrived damaged. So I contacted the store that sold it to me (Always Honest) and they said it was fine and that they were going to send me a new one. I got the e-mail on thursday or friday I think, and I got my package the next week on tuesday. Apart from receiving a new board, this time without any damages, I was really happy because of their courtesy of replacing the item that came damaged. And you should be wondering why it came damaged.....it was probably because the carrier thought it was just a big envelope with paper inside, so they put under some heavy packages, which damaged the board that I got initially. The second one though came intact luckily; I also suggested the lady in Always Honest to put a "fragile" stamp on the package itself, so the carrier (USPS I think) would take it with more careful.Overall I'm pretty happy with my purchase! Thank you Always Honest for replacing my board! Awesome courtesy Mariana! 5 Stars!
