Perchmount Fit Magnetic Smartphone Mount (Red)

As an avid lifter I have long been looking for a great way to keep my phone handy, without risking the other meatheads in the gym dropping weights on it, or stepping on it. This magnet is great as it holds your phone firmly, and then magnets to the weight rack to keep the phone handy.The only thing I can (and will complain about) is that my phone (OnePlus 3T) is a bit large, and the buttons oddly placed so the magnets have a hard time keeping the phone right side up. I was able to counter this by placing it against the barbell holds, but it would be nice to see a built in solution for keeping the phone in the orientation I decided.

I like this concept, especially for use in the gym. I could record my lifts and then critique myself and make adjustments. However, after only a few uses, the magnet fell out. I didn't realize this happened until after I left the gym. I assume that the magnet was left on the rig. Lame. I still want to record my lifts so I'm going to find another similar product.

This product works well unless you have a case on your phone. If you do have a phone case, it's difficult to get the phone to fit into the Perchmount. Also, the angle is slightly off making any images or video appear slightly tilted. Save your money and buy a tripod instead.

This works incredibly well, the magnet is very strong and holds my phone in place even when going over really awful potholes. I have not had a chance to use it to video a lift yet, but I plan to once I pick up a second one, since I leave mine in my car.

Fits most phones very well. I was using this with a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and it worked for a while but after stretching to fit its starting to show cracks in the plastic. Would definitely recommend for slightly smaller phone models or larger if you don't mind replacing every so often. I used mine almost every day for about 6 months.

I like the concept. The problem is that the magnet is too weak so it slides down the rig when it is holding my phone. I need to tinker to get it set up.

If i could GIVE this CRAP zero stars. I MOST definitely would!! In regards to using it to record yourself at the gym, it’s garbage!! It can’t hold the iPhone 5 up be it self! DO NOT BUY THIS!! 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

The idea is great, the magnet is not strong enough, I have a Samsung Note and I feel like my phone is just too heavy, will not hold it up. Maybe a lighter/small phone would work better for.
