Warehouse Deal - Acceptable may not be acceptable after all :(
TL;DR - may go back once I've tried to assemble/install it; lots of scruff marks so very likely a unit used extensively by someone else, who purchased a new one and shipped the old one back to Amazon.*Update - returned back to Amazon*This hitch mount is heavy and sturdy. Rugged for sure, or in other words, not sophisticated like those Yakima or Thule ones. Basically 3 big pieces of metals with "0" protection foam or soft parts (not counting velcro strips). A small rectangular sticker on the vertical metal arm with Tow Tuff and bunch of warning messages. This is about no-frill bicycle hitch mount. Nothing fancy at all. However, as my reviews for Maxxhaul 70210 stated, this Tow Tuff hitch mount was shipped with - not damage - but plenty of scratches and scruff marks from locations where the arms moved, thus, wear and tear! Not much damage to the box itself actually! To me, this explained one thing only - someone else used it for years, then bought a new one from Amazon, and returned the old one back to Amazon. Amazon put this in Warehouse Deal without checking, but based on those scratches/scruff marks and categorized it as Acceptable with damages. To me, a Warehouse Deal - Acceptable should have been a new unit, but for whatever reason, got damaged during shipment so box damage, dings/dents where box exposed the merchandise from inside.I'll try to assemble this as all parts "seem" to be there and install it on my hitch receiver afterwards (unlike the other 2 MaxxHaul which most bolts/nuts/pins were missing, so they went back to Amazon immediately). The 4 bicycle mounting pieces were relatively new (whoever used this probably bought better straps), came in bubble warp and not attached to the mount itself. There's also the red reflecting piece shipped inside a small cardboard box. Having said that, It most likely will go back because it was very difficult to slide some of the pins (where the arms would move if you removed the pins). It looked like those locations have already been bent from extensive use previously.BTW, Tow Tuff and Maxxhaul (older version; newer version slightly different in hitch piece) seemed to be identical hitch mount, with TT being the older brand and Maxxhaul the newer. The ONLY difference? That small rectangular sticker with one labeled Tow Tuff and the other one MaxxHaul!

box was damaged which caused holes on the box
Rack seems pretty well built haven't used it but box came with holes on it and it allowed screws to be missing

(WARNING!!) THIS BICK RACK CAN BE DEADLY.
THIS BIKE RACK CAN BE DEADLY. I WAS GOING ON VACATION. MY HUSBAND HOOKED IT UP THE BICK RACK FRAME WAS SOLID STEAL AND STURDY . 10 MINUTES ON THE HIGHWAY AND I HEARD A BUMP AND CARS BEEPING LIKE CRAZY!!! I LOOKED BACK AND THE STRAPS FABRIC HAD RIPPED . MY BIKE HAD FLIPPED OVER AND WAS BARELY HANGING ON BY THE BICYCLE CHAIN. MY FAMILY AND I WERE TERRIFIED!!! I QUICKLY PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE. SECONDS BEFORE THE BICYCLE COMPLETELY FELL OFF ON TO THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY. WHEN I THINK OF HOW MANY PEOPLE COULD HAVE BEEN HURT OR KILLED BECAUSE OF THE DEFECTIVE STRAPS . IT BRINGS TEARS TO MY EYES.

Don t buy for adult bikes
I bought this bike rack to put on the back of our camper on may 25 we used it about 6 times and upon going camping one weekend I looked back and could see a bike tire sticking out past my camper. The one weld let go and the square tubing bent and physically ripped apart. I wasn t very impressed as we were 4 hours from home. It would work ok for kids bikes that’s about it. Very light and cheaply built. Wouldn t recommend for adult bikes
