Purchased this looking for information about raising plugged mushroom logs outdoors. It doesn’t address this method of production at all. Beyond this, it is horribly published. There is a table of contents, but no page numbers. Ideas are poorly organized. Much of it is written in either incomplete sentences or run on sentences. Margins run into the fold of the book making it next to impossible to read. Sending it back!

Ordered this book based on a few good reviews written about it. I am impressed that no one corrected this authors grammar , punctuation or translation. After reading it and finishing off a bottle of white out correcting it. I find it to be more of an introduction to at home mycology. A good gift for a child.

This is a lovely guide composed by an extremely experienced mycologist. The species portrayals are profoundly point by point and the association and shading coding are all around done.Really i enjoyed with satisfied. Thanks to author for this effective book.

So sorry that, what should have been a great resource for novice mushroom growers, should be riddled with nonsensical meanings and gramatical errors. Every page was hard work and needed interpretaions to be made in order to make any sense, and I found that hard work especially at the price paid .Eg the authour made sure he cleansed 'his hands and ankles' (I presume wrists are meant) in order to have a sterile environment. Sorry again probably a lot of good information, but it really only needed a thourough proof reading?

I purchased this book for my husband. It is extremely poorly written. Half of it doesn't make sense. See photo for reference. This is not as advertised. Do not buy.
