Thin, yet warm
Bought these before Christmas, and they have now had their first outing to the Alps. They are warm enough and knee-length. I particularly liked that they are compact enough to fit in a waist bag to replace the inevitable wet socks part-way through the day. Cool design, and the socks have not shrunk or lost their colour despite four washes.

Love them so much
I bought these because I don't like thick socks in my boots and thought it was time to invest in some wool socks. They're perfect! They fit in my boots fine and keep my feet toasty warm when I'm walking. I've got three pairs that I rotate. They are my go to winter socks forever.

Draught-proof your shins...
It seems a bit unlikely that thinner socks should still keep your tootsies warm but these Team Magnus Tundra Wolf Ski Socks are surprisingly cosy. They’re thinnish but by no means threadbare, just thin compared to most walking/hiking types of socks. They’re also exceptionally long, more like hose than socks, and will reach up to the knees on most people meaning you feel completely draught-proofed. That’s presumably a large part of the reason they feel so cosy and they’re great for wearing with boots, even tighter fitting ones because they don’t cause much bulk.Note that they come in packs of three in the same colour, not a mixed pack as one of the photo’s implies. They’re branded along the top but it’s subtle and most people will never see it because it’ll be so far up your trouser leg. I machine washed mine at 30˚C and line-dried them and they’re absolutely fine, no serious shrinkage or colour loss. They’re pricey but if you want a sock this long and cosy to wear under your cold-weather gear then it’s a worthwhile investment.

Sock it to em in quality 'n style
At first I thought these were vastly overpriced, but then read the manufacturing contents 80% wool, 17% polyamide and 3% elastin, so quality made! They are surprisingly thin and dynamic for a sock of such high wool content. The other 20% enable this dock to be so thin and flexible. They come in three colours (blue, grey or navy), I have opted for the navy. They have a wolf logo either side at the top and the make / size on the sole.I use the sock for long walks with the dog and I have designated one pair to playing football midweek. As they are footy size length and you can even slide a shinny down there if necessary. Also I'd like to add, my feet do not sweat so much in these than they do in my normal footy socks, so that's food for thought. Probably due to the breathable wool blend.I fully recommend these socks, they wash well, quality made / wool blend and well worth the money for 3 pairs of woolen performance sports socks. Brilliant product.

Lightweight But Warm
I've lost count of how many hundreds of pairs of socks I've bought over the years. Often I've purchased cheaply and regretted it as they quickly fall apart and aren't very warm anyway. These Tundra Wolf socks are the opposite of that - they cost a fair bit more and they're very well made, with a high wool content, so they should last a lot longer and ultimately be better value for money. They're made in Europe too. With my long legs, these socks mostly cover my thighs. In the winter weather that's a great comfort, and avoids the misery of cold draughty ankles. The socks are unusually thin for a ski sock, and have the feel more of a winter dress sock, albeit with a picture on them. They're warm though, and suitable for alpine use so long as your boots don't need a lot of cushioning for comfort, as some do. In a properly cold location like Norway or Canada you'll want something thicker. My one disappointment about the design of these is the branding, which to me at least, visually detracts, and I don't like sporting the not very adult looking logo. Compared to the branding of Fjalraven for example, it isn't very elegant. But hey, it's a personal thing, and the socks themselves are nice and warm.

Pricey but good
Works out about a tenner a pair - pretty costly for socks, but these are (nearly all) wool, with the necessary elasticity and additional polyamide or something to keep them durable. Clever idea to keep them thin, so they can be easily worn with boots, under ski suits, whatever - so many winter socks just add bulk to increase warmth, which just makes your footwear uncomfortably tight.Wool is and always will be the best form of insulation so these socks are great - and long! Over the knee on me but I do have very short legs. As I’m currently recovering from leg surgery anyway, now I’m out of the awful surgical stockings they make you wear, these are perfect. Warm and cosy without being restrictive. I like the little wolf logo too.So far, I’ve washed these on a wool wash using the right kind of detergent for wool, so it remains to be seen if they stand the test of time and wearing a lot, I should think the soles are going to be the first to give way....

They're brilliantly warm and very thin.
Excellent thermal ski socksPackaged well, arrived in a see through plastic bag. The 3 pairs of thermal socks are all held together via a piece of cardboard wrapped around them like a sleeve. The socks are neatly folded into 3 parts. The thermal socks are a dark grey colour. They're nice and lightweight. They are quite long, they come up to the knees. At the top, either side of the sock, is an image of a wolf's head. On the sole of the sock are the words 'TEAM MAGNUS'. These are incredibly soft. They are nice and thin. They feel really well made and versatile. These are designed fantastically. They're really warm when on. I was impressed, because they are so thin, I was hesitant how good they would be. Absolutely fantastic for skiing, not taking up too much room like a chunky sock. Even when stretched as far as they will go, they still perfectly keep the warmth in.I would definitely recommend these. They do the job that they need to do. I was a little surprised at the price but they're such good quality, and work that well, that I would definitely invest for skiing.
