All in one HDMI VGA USB Ypbpr Charging Dock Cradle for iPad iPad 2 iPhone 4 Card Reader USB HUB Camera Kit

The dock and its included accessories are actually pretty decent. However, the accompanying documentation is terrible, and one really key thing to note is that USB to mini power supply cable MUST BE POWERED in order for your iPad to read even compact flash or SD cards. No power, no card reading.The manual made that seem like you only need that if you have power hungry devices. Also, note, this does NOT push enough power for USB powered hard drives to work plugged into the dock. I tried a number of times to power up 2.5" external drives through the USB hub, and that simply won't work (at least I couldn't get it to).However, once you get around making it work, the dock serves it's purpose and we're able to play back videos on an SD card to the iPad (using a jailbroken iPad 2, SBSettings, and XBMC - it's actually pretty good...).UPDATE: After working once, I have never been able to get this working again. Several weeks of wondering what software settings weren't working right on the iPad, I gave up and bought a standard Apple Camera Connection kit to test against. Immediately upon plugging in the CCK SD card reader, it saw my cards without issue - so it was definitely not a problem with the iPad, but a problem with the dock itself. I'm hoping I can return this one and try another to see if it's just a single defective unit or?

It is not as expected, it works fine for hdmi, but for VGA and composite video it displays only movies. To work you have to remove the iPad cladI did not like it and I keep it in box

Product is Great, Just one of the cords was not properly working. It happens though. and Plus I upraded to the i5 before it arrived. Would've been perfect to have 1 dock with all External connections. Great Space saver!

Good item. The remote works on some things but doesn't navigate. Haven't tried everything. I mainly use it to watch things on my tv that has component cables. Which doesn't mirror the iPad it's just plays the video or sound which is good for Netflix. Wish it also had av cables though but doesn't

This item is very versatile as it connect almost anything.. usb, video, audio. nice quality shielded video/audio cables included. Nice remote included. Everything you need. Except a dock extender! This will not work with a case on. I had to buy a separate dock extender to avoid the hassles of removing my Defender case. If they included this, It would get a perfect rating. I also really like the fact that it has a gripping bottom surface, stays firmly on a desk or table, no sliding. Again, a dock extender would make this the perfect all in one set up.
