If you swing trade or yikes, even day trade ...
If you swing trade or yikes, even day trade, candlestick patterns are a must to know. The most accurate for me seem to be Gaps, Shooting Stars at the Top, Hammers at Bottoms. You'll learn those and many more in this book. A $15 book could save or make you 1000's.

Good intro to candlesticks
This is a good introduction to candlesticks in trading, but that is it. If you want to learn about how to use candlestick patterns in context against other confluences then you really need to read wider material or buy a decent trading course.

Great book
Well written, good examples that include enough charting tools to be useful without overwhelming you with a universe of tools and indicators.Originally I borrowed the book from my local library but as is often the case the charts were hard to read. I liked the book so Ithought I could magnify the charts on my iPad if I purchased the book and used the kindle app to read it.The kindle app works very well. You can highlight the text and bookmark pages AND I can magnify the charts. Unfortunately the quality of the chart suffers with magnification but it is still better than squinting at a book.
