BEST PRICE GREAT QUALITY MORE THAN ONE WAY OF MOUNTING!
Works perfect, super easy to install with some common sense. Also if you have some fab skills and nesesary tools to do it you can use this bolt like a rocksolid industries and cut off the threaded end, grind low enough, heat and bend, and weld on. BEST price and quality I've seen. MUCH better than ATI screw on bolt and this one won't rattle loose even with out lockite from my experience be for I welded it on...

Definitely an upgrade.
Installs easily with proper tools and patience.Sturdy as heck if you follow the directions too.You WILL need high rings/mount though.

Too expensive
As if this piece of metal wasn’t expensive enough by itself, if you don’t take it to a gunsmith, you have to cut off the ball on the bolt. Then you have to trim the bolt so you can cut the groves. A Dremel tool works great. But then you have to buy a tool to cut the groves. But a gunsmith will charge up to $100, plus the $50 for the bolt. But unless your a handyman like me, I just had to buy a screw cutter, $15. But as expensive as this is, it’s better than anything else I’ve tried. But Moisin Nagant are built by different countries, so each bolt is made different, so each one had to be trimmed differently. My M44 was easy to do, but my 30/91 wasn’t. It was much thicker, too thick for my Dremel. I had to use a grinder, which is extremely hard to get the thickness perfect. So it’s a great replacement bolt, but very expensive unless you can do it yourself. But it is very difficult. I have 12, 8 M44’s and 4 30/91’s. Of course I bought them back when they were first sold, very cheap. But after some modifications to them, several are tack drivers at 300 yards, some can’t shoot groups at 100. I use a scout and regular 3” eye relief rifle scope. But I also reload my own bullets.

Ended up welding the no-weld handle lol
Fit and finish was nice, came with an extra set screw just in case you drop one and some higher quality thread locker. If you end up getting this, dimple the shaft where you want the set screws to sit and it’ll be solid. If you’re relatively new to working with stuff and have some basic tooling skills, this is the perfect project that should take you less than 15 min to do once you cut the old handle down(get a cut off wheel and cut as straight as possible to save you time on clean up lol). Now I did buy this just because I couldn’t find a weld on in stock, kept overthinking the set screws thinking that I wouldn’t be able to prevent the handle from rotating on the threads completely without dimpling the shaft so I figured if I was gonna do that amount of work I should just weld it and call it a day.Product is awesome.

Easy upgrade
Best way to upgrade your Mosin bolt quickly. Easy easy installation if you're even remotely handy, with a bandsaw and bench vise this is a 15 minute project. Might not be as pretty as having the bolt handle bent professionally, but a cheaper, faster, and still perfectly functional option

10/10 Will buy again.
Excellent product! Very sturdy, and really easy to install. I didn't even have to tap the handle, it just threaded right on. All I did do was use some thread locker and and drilled two little indents where the set screws hit the bolt so they had more bite.

Send your bolt off to a professional or buy a different handle
First things first, this thing is ugly, second, it is more than a pain in the ass to install, third, check to see how tall your scope rail is, if you don't have at least three quarters of an inch clearance between the bottom of your bolt handle and the bottom of your rail don't even try to use this thing. By the end of the day I had more money in this bolt handle than I would have in sending the stock bolt off to be drawn out and bent by a professional. It's not an easy install or a "DIY" upgrade if you don't have the right thread die. At the end of the day this is ugly as hell, cumbersome and way more work than it needs to be. Don't buy it, go with the $21 alternative, it's about the same amount of work for a more functional and better working product. This is garbage.
