Boppy Newborn Lounger, Elephant Love Gray

Completely unacceptable condition. This was supposed to be brand new. I opened the box and inside bag it comes in. I immediately saw a blemish/stain positioned about where a babies head would be while feeding or laying in the pillow. Gross. Then I see horrible off center stitching that is exposing material underneath on the bottom of the pillow. To top it all off, there’s a black dog hair.. and we don’t have pets. This clearly was a used item that was sold as new. I am disgusted by this considering it’s for my 5 week old baby. Unsanitary, not as described on website and downright hazardous.

My little one loves this hoppy lounger!! He always wants to be close to us so when we need to put him down (to eat and whatnot), we put him on it inbetween us on the couch and he loves it! Super easy to clean as well.Update: dropped to 2 stars because although my son loves it, after the 3rd time washing it the side ripped open and a bunch of the stuffing came out in the wash. Very disappointed that this product was so cheaply made.

We used this same boppy lounger with our first two and got rid of it so reordered it for our third. We love it and use it daily! My 3 stars is because this pillow arrived yesterday and not in a plastic package—just a pillow in a purple paper wrap in a cardboard box. My 3 yo has a severe mold allergy and cardboard is one of the most mold prone substances. No idea where this pillow or box have been, and it’s too thick to feel great washing any mold spores out. We also do our part for the environment, boppy, but please send these in their plastic packages. Would you want your new mattress coming in nothing more than a cardboard box?? Ugh

I really enjoy having this for our baby. I originally ordered it to having something to sort of prop up my son when he was 2 months old because he has pretty severe infant acid reflux and it helped him to not lay flat. We use it on the couch (against advisement from the label, I know!) and he really seems to like it. He's on the smaller side but we still use it now that he's almost 6 months old to lay and read books together or play with toys. I wish I had this right when he was a newborn! I recommend getting the cover (or two) that they sell on here on Amazon for it because it is not top load washer friendly. I would recommend to anyone, but especially reflux baby moms and dads.

This pillow is amazing ! It is comfy, supportive, portable, and perfect for many situations. You can use it as a supportive prop up chair , a cozy spot for breastfeeding, and a snuggly nap spot. I even used this for nights my infant had acid reflux to help elevate his head. This pillow made it so easy to have the baby in any room with ease. I 100% recommend this pillow it is one of the best items I brought for my child looking back.

Love this product. Definitely on the newborn/ baby MUST HAVE list :) My daughter can comfortably lounge on the couch or bed with me. I also use it for baby pics by laying fuzzy blankets and such over it. Its a sweet backrest while breastfeeding and so many other things. I end up using this product every day. DEFINITELY WORTH THE BUY!

I purchased this as a gift for a family member who was having a baby. So many Moms said they couldn't live without their Boppy's so I decided it might be a great gift.So far there have been quite a few baby pictures taken while the new baby is in his Boppy Lounger. I'm guessing all those Moms were right. You really can't go wrong with buying a Boppy Lounger cause they are just so darn convenient and comfy for a newborn.

We had to buy two of these because the cat kept trying to steal the baby's. This one was for the cat. She loves it and leaves his lounger alone now. Also we got to toss out her grody old bed, so that is good too.FWIW The lounger we use for the baby has been instrumental to the processes we've come up with to manage him. When I am alone with him, it is someplace nice to set him down (that is, where he won't become upset and alarmed) for a moment when I need to - a stand-in for daddy's arms while I pick up some toys, put myself away after a feeding, set up the baby gym, etc. It has made life much easier.

Going off of the insane amount of positive reviews this lounger has, I knew it was a product I would probably be happy with. What I did not expect however was just how impressed I would be by the quality!! The pictures truly don’t do it justice, this lounger is way bigger and comfier than expected and the quality of the fabric is so impressive! Absolutely worth the price. I will definitely buy this again if I need a Baby shower gift!

I cannot say enough good things about this. I think this is the 4th or 5th one that I’ve bought. I buy them for everyone as a baby shower gift and frequently hear that it was one of the most useful items for the first few months of life. There were some days when the only way I could put my baby down was in this lounger. FIVE STARS!! Stop thinking about it and just buy this. Seriously.

Baby loves lounging on this pillow. I wish it would last longer - he started to outgrow it after two months. My biggest gripe is the material this pillow is made from - everything sticks to it and is hard to clean off. It collects all kinds of particles, fibers and hair instantly, be prepared to bust out the lint roller more than once a day. Because the cover is not removable, keeping it clean becomes quite a chore.

I got this for my 5 week old, hoping it would be similar to a dock-a-tot. He’s bigger than most babies this age (13 lbs, 22” long) and I thought it would be a perfect snug little pillow but he really doesn’t like it- his neck is supported by the back but it just angles his body the wrong way and looks very uncomfortable. The pillow is firm and well made but it just didn’t suit our needs. Would be better for newborns and smaller babies but they might grow out of it quickly.

When I first received this product I didn’t have my baby just yet and wanted to return it back because it didn’t seem like it would be comfortable for a baby in my opinion but my husband convinced me to keep it and I’m so glad I did. My baby loved this lounger. I used it from the first week until about 4 months. Now my baby rolls over and I pretty much stopped using it because I’m afraid he might fall from it as he constantly lifts his head up. He looked very cosy in it at first though. It was a lifesaver many times. It’s quite easy to clean as well which is important too. Babies and messes go hand in hand. When my baby had an accident on it I used one of those Tide pens on the stain first and washed it afterwards by hand quite promptly, just kind of rubbed the fabric in warm water and it came off very easy. It dried out very fast too. I didn’t dry it in the dryer. I hate dryers, they ruin my things. I put it “standing” on a drying rack outside in the sun - it drained and dried in half a day! It looked like new afterwards. Didn’t lose its shape! I recommend this product.
