Molly McAdams does it again! I started my new love for McAdams with Lie to Me and now I’m onto the Brewed Series! She writes complex love stories… it’s more than falling in love with the girl next door for Cayson and Emberly. Cayson is one of four boys and struggle has been part of his story since he was 9… Emberly has struggled loving Cayson since the time she was a witness to an heartbreaking trauma. Interesting, loving, complex and a sigh of relief! No spoilers from me because Molly McAdams writes like no others- mystery, intrigue and sometimes a gut wrenching story that takes time to play out before we end up happily ever after in a small town! So good!!

This is an intricate tale that showcases how people hurt one another because of ignorance. The picture for our hero and heroine are murky because if false narratives and secret shame. They eventually work through mountains of difficulty to find their HEA. This novel is well plotted with great characters. I wish the author would reduce her use of partial sentences, though. That writing technique is fine on occasion but is annoying and distracting when over used, as it was in this book

This is book 2 in the Brewed series and is about Cayson Dixon. The brother who left his family and only talked to Sawyer over the last 10 years.Now he is back and no one wants him around. His family thinks he abandoned them when their father died and Emberly thinks he was her tormentor throughout high school.As Cayson tries to explain why he left, his brothers and mother find it hard to believe the things he is saying about their father. He knew it was not going to be easy for them to hear what he went through but he has to tell them. He also has to talk to Emberly if she will listen. He picked on her in school because he was in love with her but thought she was in love with his brother Sawyer.As Cayson and Emberly talk, they learn things that happened wasn't their fault. With others causing her problems and his father pushing him, all Cayson could do was leave.Will his family forgive him in the end? Can Emberly accept that Cayson wasn't her tormentor and caused her all the pain? Will Cayson and Emberly get their happily ever after?I am loving this series, although this one was as emotional as the first book, it was a different kind of emotional roller coaster ride. I can not wait for the next brother, to see which one gets his HEA.**I listened to the audible version of this story and I am loving the narrators, Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke**

This book captivated me right from the start and never let go. A stunning love story that is powerfully raw, incredibly emotional, breathtakingly romantic and beautifully inspiring. Oh, my heart. This romance not only had all the feels; it brought me to my knees. With an incredibly sexy, fiercely protective, very determined hero and a beautiful, strong and resilient heroine. The connection they share is undeniable. I loved their flirty banter, sarcasm and wicked wit. Their attraction is magnetic and chemistry is not only off-the-charts; it is palpable. Their passion is sizzling and explosive. A beautifully written storyline that is a rollercoaster of emotions. I felt everything the characters experienced. I laughed, cried, felt the joy and every ounce of pain. From the heart-stopping and soul-shattering to the swoon-worthy and breathtaking moments, the emotions radiated from the pages. A story delivered with so much heart and soul that that I fell deeper in love with the characters and this story with each turn of the page. An unforgettable journey that left an indelible mark on my heart and soul. I loved every second and didn’t want it to end. A top read of 2020 and all time! This book is one you need to read!

This book definitely had my feelings all a mess, I love a broken and brooding hero, rooting for their happiness is just so satisfying. And oh boy is Kayson broken, so much pain in his past and Emberly is the one good thing to come back into his life. While she was always Kayson’s brother best friend, her heart belonged to the broken boy who stole her love years ago.When these two come back together, they clash, they fight, and eventually overcome their hurtful past. Forgiveness and acceptance are the main themes of this beautiful story, but there is still a lot of hurt among the Dixon family. My heart kept on breaking over and over again for what Kayson endured in silence for years without anyone knowing in his family knowing. Emberly supporting and loving him despite all his flaws cemented my love for this story. Kayson needed someone in his corner, even if it took some heartbreak for her to move past the pain that always lingered when thinking of him. I absolutely connected with him and just wanted to wrap him in my arms and hold him. Their emotional and physical connection was undeniable, a love between them explosive and passionate making for a hot read. If you are looking for a broody hero, Whiskey is a must read!

Loved Sawyer & Rae, so was excited for Ems story. Molly never fails to bring us a beautiful story whilst taking you through all those emotions. Love how the bond has grown with Rae & Ems too, also appreciated how this story raised awareness of Cayson's "secret" a matter very close to home & I feel Molly shown with the right support anything is possible. Certainly loved these two, can't wait to read Hunters story now, I don't think I'll ever get enough of these lot .Thank you Molly you nailed it again

I can’t even, I love him.Cayson had such a troubled past and dealt with such horrid abuse from the hands of someone who was meant to love and cherish him.Emberly, sweet sweet Emberly — such a feisty little minx.Emberly is insecure and has a troubled soul too - it was extremely emotional reading what was done to her.Together they’re like FIREWORKS *BOOM* - you can’t help but feel the love, passion and chemistry between them.Will they blow up or will they come together and accept the love that’s so strong between them?Can Emberly get over her doubts?OHEMGEE - will Cayson leave again?I promise this book is well worth the read, but before you do be sure to go read Sawyer & Rae’s book first.Go start at the beginning you won’t even regret it.Time for book three, YES thankfully it’s out or I would be crying right now!I wish I could give this book unlimited stars, but I can’t.So FIVE SPARKLY STARS ⭐️I love your world Molly, such and incredible series.

Brilliant absolutely brilliant! a rollercoaster of emotions with all the feels.Cayson and Emberly’s is such a sad story and so explosive.So many secrets revealed in this one, which both break hearts, push people further away but also bring them together.Can’t wait to dive into Hunters story.

Cayson Dixon is everything. I loved this story! And that ending?! Shut the front door, I love Cayson and Emberly.
