I bought this book as an industry executive looking to identify new ways for our clinical and commercial team to effectively work with our customers and their patients in a more streamlined fashion during the COVID crisis (and post crisis in the "new normal"). I found Dr. Pandolfino and his team had identified some interesting approaches to optimize care that now may be even more important as we look for a blueprint to more efficiently engage with our care givers to manage patients suffering from the diseases we treat. As a physician myself that has been frustrated with the status quo of healthcare, I was energized after this honest quick-read and am convinced that value-based healthcare is possible through a virtual integrated practice unit. This is a must-read for anyone that has wished for a better healthcare system- consumers and providers alike.

The writer does an excellent job of explaining ways to change the health care system that are realistic and come from inside the field. It’s not from someone that has absolutely no experience and understanding like out present day politicians. I got a lot out of it.
