Be aware that this is not a carved or engraved sign like many for sale. The lettering is printed on and, in my case, printed in grey so they do not show up well against the dark grey slate. I am not sure how durable the printed letters will be over time but the inking seems very thin. Secondly, the slate itself is also very thin and delicate. I would not recommend screwing straight on to even a slightly uneven wall, or a surface like pebbledash, as if you over tighten it the sign is likely to crack. I had to mount my sign on a wooden backing board first then screw the mount to the wall. Not impressed!

I don't always have time to rate items but this was a very important item for us in our new home. It was excactly as described, finish was perfect, slate was perfect and, although it was right up to the end of the delivery period, it arrived well packaged and in one piece!Looks good - nice touch that the screws and screw caps are included.

Hi , the delivery was prompt, lovely. The size of the slate plate I ordered is too small for the size house, (my mistake). the slate plate should have been bigger. Love the lettering style. My only complaint is that the paintwork is not white enough. From a distance, you can only just make out the house name. I expected the lettering paintwork to stand out more, so , kinda disappointing really. Was wondering if you could help with this problem. await your response. thank you.

I'm very pleased with the sign I purchased and it is beautifully produced. The lettering is clear and the slate nicely cut. It's going to look fantastic on the wall. Highly recommend.

the slate is good quality, but the letter writing which is laser printed onto the slate is not good and does not stand out in certain lights which is a shame as if the lettering was more bold this could of easily have been 5 star all round,disappointing

So pleased with our sign. It looks amazing at the end of our drive, and we have had several comments about how nice it looks. Didn't take long to be delivered, and good communication from the seller. Excellent quality, very well packaged.....there was no way the sign could have been damaged en route as it was so well wrapped! Thankyou

Moved into a newish house that has a name so we wanted a plaque like the other houses. This is perfect. Excellent delivery, well packaged and easy to put up.....well it was easy for him to put up. Would recommend.
