Great for machine quilting
My favorite brand for machine sewing and quilting

Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertised and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Other brand I tried was so fine I could not thread it through the needle
It was exactly what I needed to finish a quilting project I was working on. Other brand I tried was so fine I could not thread it through the needle. This brand was fine enough for my project, but I could thread needle and generally work with it easily. Also had absolutely no problems with breakage.

Nylon becomes brittle, poly does not
I didn't know at the time I bought it, that Nylon becomes brittle over time. I don't know about you, but I want everything I sew to last as long as possible. This was a waste of money. Don't use nylon. Instead , use Mono-poly thread. It won't break down.

Best disappearing nylon thread for quilting.
Thinness of the thread makes it invisible. In the middle of a project, I ran out. I tried another brand I had but it was too visible. Amazon came to the rescue and I received replacement spool next day! Amazing.

Less like fishing line, but not quite thread yet
I used this for an applique project. It is almost invisible (depending on the cast of the light) but it's still difficult to use compared to cotton and polyester thread. It stretches easily and requires quite a bit of experimenting to find the correct tension between thread and bobbin thread. I understand from a lot of reading that all invisible threads are like this. It's quite an improvement over old invisible thread that was like fishing line. If I absolutely had to use it again, I would, but I will go out of my way not to pick projects that require it.

odd spool design
Fortunately I have both a vertical post and a horizontal one on my machine as it will not feed from the horizontal spool holder. I think it is because there is no top to the spool and somehow it magically winds around the horizontal post and then snaps. As others have mentioned, it is about as thick as a human hair, maybe even thinner.

Just what I needed!
This was exactly what I needed for a quilt I'm working on. It has so many different colors and shades that no one thread color would disappear the way I wanted it to. This did the trick. I haven't had any problems with the thread breaking or bunching. I did have to do some experimenting to get the top and bottom thread tension just right in my machine, since I'm using plain white sewing thread in the bobbin and it's quite a bit thicker than this invisible thread. Great product!
