SperryWomen's Saltwater Boots

I knew a few things about Ireland… I would be doing a lot of walking, there would be rain, i would be limited on what I could pack. I needed something that would go with a lot of outfits, would be WATERPROOF (I can’t do wet feet), and would be comfortable enough to walk for MILES in. These were perfect! They were the only shoes I wore the whole trip, they were water proof, slip resistant, comfortable, and very cute. I got several compliments. They fit perfect. The value was great. There was another pair at the store that was 30% more expensive. They got dirty on a trip to a farm, but they were very easy to clean. Great weight and quality too!

I brought these for an August trip to Alaska. We were there for 3 weeks and they came in handy to keep my feet dry. I bought 2 sizes because I was unsure of the fit and I didn’t have a lot of time before our trip. I bought my normal size 5 also a 5 1/2 which I wear in sneakers. I kept the 5 1/2. I did the same for my husband and he kept the 1/2 size larger as well. These boots fit well, were comfortable and kept my feet dry. I wore them with wool socks. I would buy them again.

First off, I ordered my regular size (9), and they're perfect, even with thicker SmartWool winter socks. I should note that I have four other pairs of Sperry duck boots (for rain/mild cold), and those are all an 8.5. I'm a size 9 in 95% of brands, but Sperrys can run large. So you probably can get away with ordering your regular size here for winter boots even for thick socks.The leather ankle area is soft and supple. The shearling is incredibly warm and covers the entire footbed as well as the entire ankle/tongue/insole. The top of the foot & heel area (rubber area) are insulated with a smooth liner that's surprisingly warm. I've done some long walks in Chicago when it was 10°F out with these and good winter socks, and my feet stayed warm.Quality has been outstanding. Have had these for about two months, and there are no loose seams anywhere. They look as good the day I got them and are even more comfy. Footbed is very comfortable with the provided shearling insole. I actually do not untie/tie them every time I put them on. I tied them rather loosely like this (see pics) and I just yank them on. They're secure once on the foot.Exceptional quality, regardless of price. I have some taller $249 brown LL Bean shearling boots, and these are super close in quality. The LL Beans have shearling in the exact same places, top of foot/ankle area also lined with smooth insulating fabric. The shearling on those is thicker/higher pile, but the leather on the Sperrys is more supple and attractive. Since the LL Beans are taller with a 10" shaft and thicker shearling, those are like an A+ and these are an A.The ONE thing neither are good at is walking on ice. The soles/treads just aren't rugged enough. This isn't an issue in salted areas or on actual snow, but if you have poorly salted sidewalks that are prone to icing over, something with a more rugged/grippier sole is best, like The North Face boots with their IcePick soles or Salomons with the Contagrip soles.

True to size, comfortable, warm and great for wet weather.I wore them inbetween my running shifts at a trail race and it was a very wet weekend. These were great.

I like these. At first, I thought they were hard to get on, but I just needed to open them more. The only thng I don't like is that they are not very warm.I was on a soccer field with 32-degree weather and my feet were cold. I didn't have on winter socks, but my socks were fuzzy. But still I thought they would do better than that. Other than that, they are very cute and stylish. They keep the mud and water out. But if you are looking for insulation you will need to think about your sock choice.

It has great traction, waterproof, and fits like a glove.. True to size. Love it, price is reasonable, Great choice

I saw these boots in a mall, one day when shopping with my boyfriend, I think they may have been a little bit different color or pattern but the same brand. Luckily, I tried them on in person and realized they run big. I usually wear a size 9 and I ordered an 8 1/2. That allows me to wear thicker socks with them if I want to. They are so cute and so comfortable and I don’t know if I have ever gotten more compliments on any other shoes I’ve ever worn! Everyone loves them and asks where I got them! I love that the bottom part is rubber like a rain boot so, even if the snow is slushy, it would not get my socks wet. I even wear them now that it’s a little warmer! I like them better than the rain boots I have! Just remember to size down, half or whole size, and they should be great!

These are my first waterproof boots. I've never owned aka sensible boots since childhood. After years of being cute but wet I decided to try these. They are true to size. They are waterproof, I submerged the entire duck portion feet remained dry. They are comfortable took my dog for a walk without socks on was ok no rough edges to cause blisters.I ordered a size up because I have high arches(former ballerina) winter boots tend to have snug openings. My foot glides in + I have room for thick socks if need be.Fashion note thx to the color block my feet don't look like boats in the 11's ;)
