Amazing Twisted Series
I have just finished the trilogy Reckless Hate, Vicious Hate, and Broken Hate. I cannot fathom how this story could have possibly come together any better than it did. This is a story of the Blue Boys and the girl who loves each of them so deeply. I loved Astrea and Alex and their love-hate dynamic. I adored Noah....the humor he injected into the story, and his sensitivity that he would hide so that no one could hurt him. Emmett was the gorgeous broken teddy bear, who has secrets and had a stutter that Astrea helped him overcome. And then there's George, Astrea's twin brother, the boy that she is forever connected to.These five have been friends for twelve years. The story begins in 12th grade, but there are flashbacks in order to understand the dynamics and the traumas that have sealed Ace and Star to one another. This is four very wealthy families and all the girls want to be with the Blue Boys, not only for the status, but also because they are just gorgeous. The girls tolerate Star, but look for ways to bring her down as the only one in the group of boys. These three books made my head spin. The puzzle is incredibly well conceived, the characters are so well developed you can form an image of how they look. These books total approximately 1200 pages, and there is little repitition. It was hard wrapping my brain around how Thandiwe developed such an intricate story that had me reading until 4 am until it was finished. Note to the author....The ending was not expected, and for awhile I was heartbroken in how it was playing out. But the conclusion was spectacular, I must confess. That being said, the only issue I had was in the editing. Reckless Hate was fine with few grammatical errors. However, the next two in the trilogy were over loaded with spelling errors, misaligned noun-verb agreement, and punctuation errors galore. Mistakes like those take away from an extremely well woven storyline. I'm not sure if the edits were executed by the same person in all three books, or whether they were different people. That is one very important piece of the writing process that needs to be addressed. It appears that this series may be giving birth to a spin-off. I'm looking forward to that, but hope the editing is better. It wasn't enough to deter me from wanting to read more by Ms. Mpofu, but it IS an annoyance. I love your twisted thought process....can't wait for what's to come. I'm hoping Noah is next up.

Love Star and Ace!
Star and Ace have quickly grown into one of my favorite book couples. The love they feel for each other is so intense, but so is the hate. There are so many lies between Star, Ace, Noah, and Emmett we have to wonder if they will be able to make their way back to each other. This book is definitely the longest of the three. All the secrets start to come out, and we start to find the answers as the puzzle pieces start to fall together. This was not a story I was able to piece together quickly, and before the ending of the book. I was kept on my toes, and loved how things end. I hope we get a follow up story for the rest of the guys so they can have their happy endings too!Warning: As I got one of the early copies of the book I am warning the reader that there are LOTS of errors with spelling, grammar, and words. Some words are missing, and in many places names get switched around along with the pronouns she, and he. This has not affected my review. I believe due to the rush to get this book pushed out due to push back from readers the normal careful editing was not completed as it should have been. The two previous books did not have this issue.

Wow. Incredible ride.
Rating: βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈπ« 4.5/5Steam: π₯π₯ 2/3-Just like the previous books, this book also deals with some very mature and dark themes. This is your trigger warning.-I love Astraea and I genuinely felt for her as she is trying to navigate everything she learned at the end of the last book and the beginning of this book. She finds her grit in this book and does not take a passive role in her life anymore.-Astraea is great and all but Ace holds a chunk of my heart, the guilt and shame he carries is immense. There is a reason for the hate in his heart, and my heart broke for him. Personally I think he goes through the best character arc out of the whole gang. His chapters were my absolute favorite.-Overall, we ended up with a majority of questions answered and learned a lot about what was happening in the background from the previous two books. There were plenty of twists and turns to leave me satisfied and thoroughly confused. Some parts were predictable but others were not, Thandie included plenty of WTF moments and some beautiful, tender moments throughout the whole book.-It is worth noting that there are some editing issues, overall it didnβt affect my readability but it was noticeable. The reason I took off .5 star is because there is a really big moment between Ace and Star that fell flat because of a significant editing mistake. Otherwise the book is incredible, I can tell that Thandie worked her butt off to complete this and give us this raw and authentic story.

A Carnival Ride
If you read the first two installments, you will not be disappointed by this book. Thanks has written a symphony that takes you through every note you need to hear to learn the truth, to see the wrongs righted, and to know that the true meaning of love comes from so many places. Ace and Star are like Romeo and Juliet lovers who have to battle their way through life to find each other. Even if they or others are burned along the way.

Blown away!! Best book I've read this year.
OMG....I am an emotional mess. This is by far the best book I've read in a very long time...and Ive read alot of books!! Thandie what have you done to us?? Star and ACE are a couple I will not be forgetting in a long time, their story was emotional, gut wretching and so deep....I don't think I'll ever be the same. At the 97% mark I nearly threw my kindle against the wall....I couldn't believe you would end their story like that....but thank God there was another chapter and we had the ending that they deserved. This story has angst, romance, hot sex, lol moments, edge of your seat action but most importantly as a reader you live the story with the characters, when they break....you break!! Seriously it's 1am in the morning and I'm sat here in shock, never has a book touched me the way this one has and not just the third book but all three westbrook blues books! Thandie you are a genius and I'm praying we get further books on the other blue boys because I'm so not done with these characters!! If you are reading this review wondering if you should start this book...go ahead you will NOT be disappointed! 5 HUGE BIG STARS!!!

heartbreak and healing
My heart broke at the end at the airport scene and I cried for the 'angry blue eyed boy' who was misunderstood and was ultimately the victim. The main male charactecer Ace won me over in this final book. I loved the epilogue.... Rheas character depiction however in this book did her no favours ...she was angry, selfish and at time beyond whiney.Really enjoyed Thandies writing and look forward to morev of her work.
