Never Again!
I have brought these slim Jim's a few times and everythings been fine! But a few months back I've ordered as usual and got to eating a slim Jim and as i began chewing my tooth bit down on something that felt like a rock and almost had me crying! It was very painful! So after that experience i threw them all away because i just wasn't trusting it again!So i decided to give them another try being that i took a break and i ordered some more and everything was fine up until the 5th one i grabbed to eat and low and behold i hit another rock and it almost took me OUT!!!!! I ain't lying!!!So i will never be purchasing slim Jims ever again from here on or from anywhere else PERIOD!I'm not taking any chances breaking my jaw or teeth again! I'm not so sure what's in the mix and how they actually prepare these slims Jim's but I'm so through! Buy at your own risks but i warn you to be very careful when chewing and eating these things! Good value, however they are close dated. These thing usually have a exp date if about a year out, the date on these is about two months out.

I'm giving these 4 stars because it's a good deal for a box of these versus buying them individually. The only thing I didn't like too much was the flavor. I prefer the Tabasco flavor more. This is still worth buying in my opinion.

I love these, but they are not a consistent taste/texture month-to-month
I love these larger Slim Jim sticks to ward off hunger between meals (or while traveling). I am surprised how inconsistent the taste/texture is between batches. I have these on Subscribe and Save and get them monthly. I will have just finished the last of the previous month's order when these arrive and I can tell it is a new batch. I actually got a refund once because they were all overcooked (to the point of being slightly charred). I would give them 5 starts if they were more consistant.

Bad taste
These taste terrible. I first thought they had expired but that wasn't the case. They definitely do not taste like teriyaki.
