Fabulous!
I am very please with this grinder. The price was awesome and it functions as it should. I have ground up chicken for my kitty and cuts of beef for my family. It doesn't leak, it stays put and it grinds easily. I am SUPER happy with this purchase. I use the grinder about 2-3 times a month and so far no issues. I always wash it immediately and hand dry all the part so no rust forms. A great product for a great price.

Dangerous to even own
Do not buy this product.After I received it of course I opened it up, assembled it and tested it out. It was rough going and crudely built but I figured I'd give it a try anyway after I washed it out with soap to get rid of the manufacturing chemical smells. I disassembled the grinder and soaked all the parts in hot water and dishwashing soap overnight in a large plastic bowl. The next morning the water was a yellowish color and when I dumped out the water there were all kinds of metal particles in the bottom of the bowl and all the parts were rusted where the tin had worn off. The tin coating had clearly flaked off in the threads and any other area that had rubbed in the few minutes that I had tried it out and would have gone into my food had I actually been grinding anything. Also the blade was rusted and the grinder plate was heavily rusted.Between the future metal particles in my food, the instant rust, the rough mechanical operation and the yellow (toxic plating?) chemicals on the metal I never even used it on food and am instead trying to return it as I don't even want this thing in my house. As far as I am concerned this thing should not even be on the market and I pray for the people who are eating metal flakes in their food without even knowing it.I hope I don't have any problems returning this product and getting my money back.Follow up: I have been searching Amazon for a way to contact them that in my opinion this product is unsafe to public health and should not even be sold on this site as Amazon may also become liable for health damage claims but so far I have not been able to find a way to contact them about this.

Get back 2 ur roots....Amazing item
Dis item is what I call ole skool....I make rice dressing....dirty rice 2 others and grind mine...it's sturdy and at a reasonable price....4 all who can relate and thought it didn't exist anymore....Yes 👍.....I am overwhelmed with joy I was able 2 find dis....2 those boil your meat first....Again it works perfectly 2 those who are simply ole skool

Not worth it
Absolutely worse purchase. Meat turns to mush VS ground product. Not satisfied at all. I’d look elsewhere for a better item.

Not for heavy use.
The price was right so I figured why not? It appears to be a little under built and I'm afraid to put too much pressure on the handle. It doesn't work well with tougher or larger pieces of meat. Wouldn't buy again!

It's very big for a small meat grinder
This meat grinder is very big. I would only recommend thisto someone who does a lot of meat grinding and I don"t.so please send me a shipping label to return this item.It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a good day.

Complete garbage!
Put it together, and went to dry run after washing it blade broke the casting trying to turn it. I didn't bother sending it back just threw it in the dumpster. Done

This thing is a classic. It'll get the job done and give your arm a workout. You'll leave this to your grandkids. Truly deserving of the term "Old Roman Weapon".

heavy duty machine, just like my moms from back in the 50's easy assembly, cleans up very nicely. Grinds great, haven't used the sausage appliances yet.

Hand meat grinder
Not a very good item I wouldn't buy one or recommend the seller I got my item and it was spray painted with some silver paint which I wouldn't put my meat through that grinder I wouldn't trust it the handle doesn't screw on properly I contacted the seller waiting for a reply

1/2 the parts were missing
1/2 the parts were missing - no/incomplete sausage stuffer attachments no knife. so can not comment on quality as it basically unusable for any thing either for stuffing or for grinding
