I definitely recommend it but...
Another good story from Eliza Lentzski, but could've been a bit longer and more developed - it seems to only skim the surface of all the different story lines: Charlotte's past, Abby's encounter with her mother, the budding romance between Abby and Charlotte. Of all of Lentzski's books, this one has the least amount of sex in it, which is okay, but I expected more from these two women with such a strong attraction to each other. Lentzski writes well, and I always love the realistic dialogue and funny banter between characters, but the story seems rushed and somewhat incomplete.

It's funny how from simple things;
The best things begin... This story of Abigail and Charlotte; Just like all of the other novels Eliza has put out, captures you immediately. I can't praise her writing enough. Don't hesitate. Just buy it. You'll love. She's an amazing story teller. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Eliza Never Disappoints
In Bittersweet Homecoming, Eliza perfectly crafts a lovely, slow-simmering story, leaving you feeling romanced by the main characters, Abby and Charlotte. The cohesion in their budding relationship, and the classic small town life, is not only charming, but thoughtfully laid out. This romance has a classy, old-school tone, but also brings a fun, contemporary style with it. Delightful!

Very enjoyable and re-readable...
I really enjoyed the story and the issues that arise are believable. Being taken through Abigail's thought process was fun, sad, sexy and relatable. Charlotte's character was also very relatable and I greatly appreciate this book being realistic by not having money come from somewhere to make it all better. Too many writers use the characters fictitious jobs to answer for their problems by having an almost unlimited amount of money to fix it all.I left one star off because I felt like the story was brought to an end too quickly. We were given a good look at how Emily was starting her new chapter and yet a quick skip to the epilogue for solving Abigail and Charlotte's issues. I personally would of rather read them back together and been given that closure in a more detailed way.

Wonderful fireflies…
You can run away from many things, but one cannot run away from themselves. Abby is woken up from a sound sleep to discover that her brother-in-law has been tragically killed. She immediately fly's home from LA to help comfort her sister; home a place she had hardly visited in over 10 years. As you get to know Abby, and her self defenses (self destructions) you can't help but fall in love with this character who discovers not only love in the form of a beautiful single mom named Charlotte, but she discovers her true self along the way.This is a very enjoyable journey that does not disappoint, plus one gets to learn a bit about fireflies too.

Very enjoyable sweet romance.
Coming back to a charming small town for a funeral, leaving her girlfriend behind and meeting a gorgeous woman. Abby has trouble with relationships. Maybe because being deserted by her mother at a young age. Despite having a girlfriend, a sweet tender attraction is building between Abby and Charlotte. But could they be together, is attraction turning in falling in love? Losing a phone, an unexpected visit turning everything upside down. I loved both the main characters. They were very likable and I enjoyed the lively interplay with each other but also with all the other characters. Especially the little girl Amelia was so adorable and funny. It's an easy light read that makes you smile. Definitely recommended!

Good Read from an Amazing Author
I am huge fan of Eliza's writing and this new book again showcases her ability to hook you right from the beginning. I do agree with the other reviews that although the story is good it does seem a bit incomplete and rushed in certain areas. I would have liked for the book to have been longer and I would have loved to have gotten more of a glimpse into the characters past. Character development was a bit below the usual expectations I have when reading an Eliza story. Still I strongly recommend you read the book and if you have not read the author's other books I would recommend them all, you will not be disappointed. Maybe we will get a sequel...just saying!

Wonderful book!
As usual, this is another wonderful book by this author! The way she describes Abigail's home town is charming and sweet. Makes me want to visit the area. I really liked the way she developed Abigail and Charlotte's characters. You could feel the fragility of their relationship (very much like real life). Started reading the book and could not put it down until I just finished it!Really loved it! Can't wait for Eliza's next book!Than you!
