Review of Jewel in His Crown
Having read many of Priscilla us books and studies, I am a big fan of her writing. This book hit me right between the eyes..in a good way. After finishing this book, I have discovered that I was living below my value as a daughter of the King. But no more! I am motivated and ready to walk in the fullness of His grace. I am valuable in His eyes and that is what will govern my walk and actions! A must read!!

If you are a Priscilla Shirer reader, please begin with The Armor of God. Your faith will be strengthened in this book by her review of the Suit of God's Armor. In "A Jewel In His Crown", Priscilla's earlier publication, her previous level of faith, authenticity and maturity serve as building blocks for Armor of God. A Jewel in His Crown is a very innocent and wide eyed goal by a sweet Christian woman to weave her love of God into an understanding of her own journey of her romantic role and relationships moving forward from a love she once had for a relationship not sustained and backed by God, a place all too familiar to many a mature Christian. She seeks a sweet, yet self-identifying, retrospective understanding of the beginning of her union of heart and soul and spirit allowing her to move forward in her spiritual path of wisdom and inspiration to find a spiritual union in her relationship with her Heavenly Father and her future earthly husband. Regardless of your elevation of spiritual awakening, you will find Priscilla's excelling wisdom helpful to realizing your value as God's intentional, royal daughter.

Excellent
This book is so good! It definitely changed how I think of myself and my self-esteem. It also helped me change my thinking about others, to not be so judgemental, which is something I had been struggling with. Priscilla Shirer writes like she is talking to you as a friend over a cup of coffee. I loved the digital copy so much I bought the paperback for my sister. I definitely recommend this book!!

This was about me
I am so busy trying to help everyone I forget to work on me. I have done something in my pass that I am proud of. I help others to try to correct my wrongs. God has already forgave me based on information provided in this both. I will become the jewel in his crown no matter what people say. To God be the glory, for living me

Amazing book !!!!
I love the teachings of Priscilla Shirer and this is the first book I've read by her but I was truly inspired. Each chapter has helped me in my relationship with the Lord to go through things from my past and help me grasp and discover who I am in Christ. The questions at the end of each chapter helped me see where I am in my walk and powerful prayers to truly come together with the Lord. Amazing book and I'd recommend it to every christian woman looking to descover her value and worth.

No congruence between author’s teaching and life practice
The author is not congruent with her words and actions. She suggests and argues for women to be submissive, obey, serving men, look for man covering (if your not married, than find any godly men, and follow their advices), stay away from men, do not introduce yourself to men, live under authority, don’t take leadership away from your man (example used in the book is planning invitation list for the wedding, and asking your groom about it)...and yet she herself doesn’t live at home with her daddy, constantly traveling across the USA, travelled to Israel, preaching from the podium, went on a few beauty pageants (with a swimsuit competition), have finished to college degrees (journalism, and Bible studies), have never had real life relational trauma (other than running after a guy who simply wasn’t into her; yet she made it out to be that it broke off because she was too forceful). Her life is full with her being independent, doing what she wants, making decisions (many) on her own, I don’t see her asking every man she knows for simplest decisions on her life, additionally, she has male friends (based on her words, she should not). I would say 1/3 of the book is filled with this. The other 2/3 is ok to read. I see in many things she is also ignorant. She made a harsh statement that to heal all you need to is pray and get over your self.... childhood trauma, abuse, relationship abuse, don’t get healed with only prayer, there needs to be more. I would recommend reading Joyce Meyer, she has a congruent approach to love of God, Bible, everyday Christianity and real life struggles and emotional healing. Finally, I believe, she misinterpreted quite a few Bible passages to fit her point. She interpreted them in such a way, that it’s not even close to what is actually written in the Word.
