Solid 14 K Yellow Gold, Round Wire, 26 Gauge, 1 foot, half hatd

This was my first purchase of gold wire to make a pair of earrings and I kinda expected the gauge of wire to be a bit thicker. I was able to make the earrings but they are so so thin. Again a new experience. Color as good.

14K, good price. I use it for jewelry repair. I have a lot of chains that broke so I needed to splice them together. Using this small gauge makes it so it is not noticeable. I use my rubber mallet to harden it and it works great.
