came quickly and on time. I am very happy with them they are not flimsy or light weight either they feel very heavy like real plates in fact until you touch them they look like real plates. they feel a bit like plastic around the edges and are almost smooth plasticy feeling to the touch but are heavy and durable and seem like they will hold plenty of food which is exactly what we wanted. I am so glad we ordered these they will be a great addition to my wedding and also save a lot of cleanup afterwards. In fact if any of these are left over after the wedding I might just keep the and wash them and use them over and over for birthday parties afterward!

The set of Designer Dinnerware Party Plates was better than I expected. The dinner plate is a good size and strong enough to hold a full meal. The dessert plate is a perfect size for apps. or desserts. The shape is stunning with the designer edge and they have a high gloss which I really liked. They probably could be washed and used again, although I din't, because my reason for buying them was to have no dishes to do after the party. The fact that they are USA made is a huge plus to me. I'd buy them again, Tyr them you'll love them...I did. C.C.

After reading such great reviews of these plates, I can only come to the conclusion that either the manufacturer changed the way these plates are made or I just got some cheap knock-offs! One reviewer says that they feel "very heavy like real plates" and many others have bought these for their wedding! Now unless their wedding reception consisted of pigs-in-a-blanket and nothing else, I can't imagine anyone using these cheap, flimsy plastic plates to hold anything more than a roll and a pat of butter! I am so disappointed in these so-called plates that will surely flip over in your hands at the slightest breeze.... and disappointed that the 18 positive reviews fooled me into thinking I was getting what THEY got! I hope I won't be charged the postage fee to return these as they are NOT what was described nor reviewed by others! I bought these for my mother's 60th bday bash, Cuban White Party themed, but now I'll have to go buy the clear plastic Chinet ones from Target. At least I know THOSE will hold much my seafood paella, empanadas, and fried plantains!

These are simply elegant and a upbeat way to augment paper plates. We use a lot of paper plates and sometimes you need something a little stronger. These are pretty too. If they were a little thicker I'd save them and reuse them but they are really a little too thin to reuse. Of course isn't that the idea of disposable plates? To,toss after use? Well I just love the shape and all of these and cringe to throw them away.

I'm having a backyard party and these plates will work well. I like that they come with both the small and large plates. I like they are square. To me it looks a little more formal. The price is great too for the count. They are the harder plastic and seem sturdy. I don't see a problem with them buckling when food is on it.

Very disappointed. The plates were ok and were an interesting shape but from the other reviews I thought the plates were heavier and less plastic looking. I wanted to use this for a baby shower but it looks to cheap paired with the linen tablecloths. I will use it for a child's birthday party instead.

Got these for easy cleanup Holiday dinner. Everyone liked them they are pretty sturdy plastic, but not thick enough to be washable/reusable. Recommend still holding with 2 hands. Hot stuff didn't melt or warp, but no insulating properties leave the bottom of plate hot - beware. Did not try them in microwave.

I was hoping for more sturdy plastic plates but these are thinner than I expected. They're still nice, but they're not what I was expecting. There were reviewers who said they used them for weddings so I expected a thicker plastic. With that being said they're still nice.
