Always neat seeing different versions of characters.
Hours of good reading. These aren't the heroes we are used to, very different versions. This Batman for example is young, green, makes mistakes, and can barely fight or defend himself. Worth a look.

Good not great
After reading all three books, I felt they were okay. They’re basically a retelling of their origin stories but we’re unremarkable. The art is good, and the added emotional weight was good in the Batman and Superman stories, but very poor in the Wonder Woman story. The overall quality of the books and delivery were great.

Crazy cool DC Universe rewriting
I never heard of these comics when I first found them and now I think EVERYONE should know about them! These versions of DC character origins are really cool and interesting, ESPECIALLY the Superman story. One critic had said that this is so good it needs a movie of its own and, yeah, I agree one hundred percent! It gives a new insight to the Kryptonians and a new reason why Krypton was wiped out which honestly makes a lot of sense, it makes for an interesting young Superman story and FINALLY gives us a reason why he wears those dopey glasses. And the reason why actually is kind of cool and I don't think anyone ever thinks about why he wears them when this is mentioned. The villain race is interesting, Superman is an icon here and the variant characters of people like Lois and Jimmy Olsen are kind of funny and clever! The Batman story is great, showing the nervousness of GCPD when Batman jumps into the night, the Wonder Woman story feels kind of progressive for a female lead tale and Superman is a boss! The other ones, especially Green Lantern, are great too but if you want to see a clever re-imagining, PLEASE don't fly past this one! It's a great alternate version and cool reintroduction to the DC Universe as a whole!
