Humor With a Twist
Jen is a master storyteller. She is able to weave humorous banter throughout a story full of drama, mystery, and constant 'shenanigans.' The characters come to life, and you feel like you're going through the events with them. The story kept my interest throughout, and the characters were all well developed. This book tied the 4-book series together and made it feel complete. This is an author I'll be following and reading every one of her books!

what a fun read!
Witty dialogue, lovable characters, and crazy antics make this story a truly fun adventure. It helps to have read the others in this series. Love Jen Turano!

Entertaining even if it is formulaic
I've been binge reading this series and had to comment. I will start off that all of the books have me giggling and laughing and excited and I breeze through them. That said, there's a definite formula going on that's making things rather predictable. When I start the next series by this author, I hope to find some more variety. But it's basically, present the injuries of both parties, somebody ends up in jail (something that happens in every single book and, though very predictable, the scene is somewhat entertaining. Not so much in this book as in the others). Guy makes a stupid proposal. Girl sulks and guy is stupid for a while until the climax crisis and rescue scene after which they get engaged and quickly married. IF you've read one book, you have read the basic story of all of them, but the variety of personalities and such make it fun and worth going through. It may not be as mysterious as some of my favorite books, but the humor makes up for the predictability imo. Entertaining for sure

Another great book from Jen Turano. And this one has a pet pig!
You've gota love a book when the heroine has a pet P-I-G named Matilda! This is the fourth (I think) book in the serious. They've all been great books. Laugh-out-loud funny. This one may have been the funniest because of Matilda. All the characters from books one-three are in this book (my favorite part of a series). It was great catching up with them. Having read the prior books you knew this would be a good book. Agatha, the heroine, just can't stay out of trouble. And what's not to like about Zatne, our hero? Well, except his initial stupidly. You don't have to read the prior books to enjoy this book, but I would encourage you too. I'm really hopeful that there will be more books in this series. Jen Turano is a great story teller!

Who is trying to kill Agatha?
This is book four of the series and each one is better than the one before! This was such an exciting and funny story. The series was so fun to read. Agatha is quite the character and Zayne the target of her affection. But, he sure is dense headed and slow to figure out love. Agatha is so adventuresome and drags along a cast of characters in this unbelievably rip-roaring and funny story. Get ready for it and allow plenty of time to read and you will take a deep breath of satisfaction at the end.

Time for this seres to end...
I loved the previous books in this series by this author and couldn't wait to read Agatha and Zayne's story...however while I did enjoy parts of the story, it seemed like Turano was trying too hard to make a drama funny. The pig was an unnecessary distraction and just made the story more unrealistic and impossible and wasn't funny-just a little lame. The story dragged...While I didn't care for this book, I loved the others and hope Turano continues to write...just no more in this series.

Witty Twosome and a P-I-G
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this romantic, funny story of Agatha, an independent investigative reporter, whose best friend, Zayne, doesn't realize he's in love with her. Add a clever pig, Maltilda, to the mix and you have a funny laugh-out-loud story of misunderstanding and a happy ever after.

enjoy Jen Turano’s humour in her novels
I like the humour, unexpected choices and fun in Jen Turano’s novels. Her characters have a way with words that I enjoy. I appreciate the plot twists and turns. I’d recommend this book for people who like cheerful endings and readers who appreciate a bit of whimsy in their novels. Readers who like light romances.

Not quite as good
Not her best. Although I love her style and the quirky adventures her characters get embroilled in - this book was a bit flat, for me. Too expensive, and not up to her usual standard, I thought.
