MLC 8XT Master Lighting Controllers w/ Timer! **Please Note:** Before making any connection always make sure that the voltage on your ballast power cord plugs match the outlets on your MLC (the MLC can be run at either 120 or 240V). If you plug a ballast wired for 120V into the MLC when it's wired for 240V operation, you will burn out your ballast. Please contact your ballast manufacturer or refer to the user's manual to adjust the voltage reading of either your ballast or MLC. The **MLC 8XT** allows you to control up to EIGHT 1000 watt HID lights from one 50 amp, 240 volt power source. The MLC 8XT comes with a 120 volt “Trigger” cable, and a built in 24 hour Timer. The Trigger Cable can be connected to an HLC 1e, 2e or 3e in order to protect your growing area from overheating and your lights from “Hot Starts,” increasing the life of your lighting system and bulb. The **MLC 8XT** has eight 120/240 volt style outlets which allows for running your ballasts at 120/240 volts without having to change out your ballast power cords.
