Flat out does not work.
Hookup is easy... promise of integration is large... only one problem, It does NOT work. Installed this unit with a Pioneer AVH-X5600BHS. The only thing that works is the USB charging. Yes, this amounts to $99 charging unit.Phones connected were a Samsung Note 3 that is on KitKat 4.4 and a Samsung Note 2 that is on Jelly Bean 4.3. They charge but they do not connect as a device... not even as a Media device (which you can do through the USB connection on the AVHX5600BHS or use Blue Tooth Audio).I see lots of promises and noise about that Pioneer is working on a "update", Yeah I've read posts going back the last 6 months saying this...and there is No update.If MirrorLink is going to work with Android phones, because not everyone has or wants an iPhone, then they need to fix this $99 charging unit.Don't waste your money....

does not work with galaxy s4 and the av head units as it describes.
The item itself is just a glorified cell phone charger. The app to integrate the head unit and phone crashes non stop. Until the app to make the phone and head unit works properly I would skip buying the pioneer brand av units if you have a Samsung cell. I am not sure about other brand cell phones functionality with the av unit, but with my galaxy s4 It does not work as described.

worked but not good enough to recommend.
Let me first say that i am not one to write reviews but i had to write something about this product and pioneer also. I bought the CDML100 to go along with my Pioneer avh-x2600bt stereo and with the intention of being able to use the full mirror link capabilities that Pioneer said i could utilize. I have a Galaxy SIII which the website said was compatible. After completing the install i was ready to test it out , Nothing.. went online to see if i was missing something and found out that i needed an app that pioneer didn't provide to get it to work. After doing more research i found out that i needed the drivelink app, found that on the google play store and installed it. Still it didn't work. spent several hours messing around with it, but finally i got it to work. It had a few glitches but it was doing everything i needed it to do. Next day tried it out and didn't work again. Actually it didn't work for the next few weeks, then one day i was sitting in traffic and decided to try and it worked. The next three of four weeks it worked randomly, it got to the point that i just gave up on it and deleted the app from my phone. Eight months later i figured that the mirrorlink technology should be better and the drive link app should be updated, so i decided to re-install it and test it out. Only to find out that the app was no longer compatible with my phone. And that there was no replacement app to make the mirror link work. I couldn't believe it. I bought all this gear and with in a few months its not supported. Now like many other owners this thing sits in my truck and there's nothing i can do with it. but i will say that the potential is there when it worked it was pretty cool but pioneer has to stand behind its products and create their own apps that will work the way they say it will.

mirrorlink = $80 phone charger....
So this thing is a huge waste of time/money. I'm using it with my Samsung Galaxy S3, it connects fine, but you're limited to navigation (which you could just as easily use the phone itself on a mount) phone calls (which you could just use the bluetooth) and music (which is all on my ipod, and once again, I could just use the bluetooth) If you're willing to root your phone, the drivelink app has a hacked upgrade to mirror your entire phone, Im personally not tech savvy enough to even attempt that, so for me, this thing is worthless. It was a huge pain to find a spot in my dashboard to store it away, and since i dont feel like digging it out, Im just going to leave it in there. Who knows, maybe they'll have some sort of firmware update further down the road, but for now, I am a proud owner of the most expensive charger in history....Oh, it gives you the weather sometimes too -_- wow.....Just to be clear, this in NO WAY reflects the seller, they were fast and easy!

Keine Funktion
Was soll ich dazu sagen ?
