I ordered these shorts in black and I am not disappointed. The fabric is just what I had hoped for. They are comfy (a tad bit tight when sitting), and very flattering. They go with everything! Dress them up or down. I was so happy with them that I bought a second pair in gray camo print. Those ones I am not so happy with. I expected that it would be the same fabric but the camo shorts are more like a flannel. They look and feel like pajama bottoms. They are comfortable enough to keep and just wear around the house but I doubt I will ever wear them in public. So do be aware that they can come in different, and even unwanted, fabrics. Play it safe and just order the BLACK. ;)

I use these shorts for dog walks in summer. They're lightweight so they're cool. The bottom isn't tight around my thighs like more athletic shorts. The pockets are large enough for my phone and various dog walk items (extra roll of poop bags, clicker, bag of treats). I bought two pairs last year (black and grey) and the navy this summer. I find them true to size.

In some reviews people say the material is soft, others report it is not. I ordered a black pair Xl (I am a size 12.). These are little baggier than I expected and the material is soft but the texture does not flow or drape like a tshirt material would, as it appears they do in the photo. (This draped look is the look I wanted). This Material is thick and feels more like a very thick starched dress shirt would, which means the very wide leg opening holds its round shape and does not lay against your leg as you move. Since I have thinner legs, the wide leg almost looks like it has wire ring holding in its round shape. As I move my hips, the shorts stay stiff and don’t not move with me. Not at all happy about that. If you are more pear shaped, this may not be an issue. They will be a very cozy short to wear around the house so will keep them. I am wondering if the different colors may come in textures (as light and dark denim are always different too). The pics of the lighter colors show a very textured material that has a weave that is allowing the material to drape and flow. I may try ordering a different lighter color just to see. If your looking for for that draped look in the photo, don’t order the black, try a different color thats texture is very visible in the pics. I did wash and dry, not much shrinkage at all(the one time I was hoping there would be lol). They look o.k. Without ironing even though the material is thick but they do wrinkle a lot in front as you sit so ironing wouldn’t matter anyway. Being that I have black, it does not show to bad but if the lighter colors are the same way, it would be very obvious. I gave them a 4 because they are good quality. Just not what I wanted for my body type.

The shorts are cute, soft material, good length, launder well. The issue is the elastic waist. The elastic is not sewn in properly and has twisted. The waistband will not lay flat.

These are so cute and comfortable. And they are loose without looking baggy.

I wanted to like this so badly but everything about it is unflattering. The material is stiff and wrinkles easily. The picture makes it look like a loose, comfortable cotton but it’s not that at all. The drawstring is crazy long and droops even though I initially pulled it tight and double knotted it. I’m fairly slender but the stiff material made me look huge and dumpy in my stomach, butt, and thighs. I know this is the style now and some women don’t seem to mind but I can’t bring myself to go in public looking dumpy.

I love these shorts. I got them in a few colors. The materials are slightly different, but the blue is really soft, almost feels cooling. I could literally wear them everyday. I get lots of complements. I have a similar pair from Banana Republic that I paid over twice as much for, and they aren’t nearly as comfortable, flattering, and are too long. These hit just at the right length for my age, height, weight, etc.

These are not drapey shorts but a nice, smooth cottony texture. Actually better than I expected & more what I was looking for. BUT - I didn't get more than 3 steps before my generous thighs sucked the inseam up into my crotch. I hate that!The length is maybe half inch too short for me - a full 5" inseam doesn't get thigh munched.
