The ProLab 4000 professional multiparameter benchtop meters were designed to perfectly match SI Analytics world class conductivity, pH, and ion selective electrodes. With a measuring range from 0.000 uS/cm to 2000 mS/cm, TDS and salinity measurement as well as various functions for temperature compensation and setting up the cell constant the meters set the standard for professional instrumentation. The meter uses a special conductivity compensation procedure to eliminate potential temperature and concentration errors. In addition to the conductivity offering the meters measure pH in the range of -2.000 to +20.000 pH with an accuracy of 0.002 pH and 0.1 mV and an automatic temperature measurement range of -31°F to 302°F (-35°C to 150°C). The meter's wireless sensor recognition and user identification features mean that every stored measurement can be assigned an electrode and user ID. The meter reads the electrode's individual data (slope, zero point, ID number, and date of last calibration) directly from the special ID sensor. The meters also comply with further requirements by allowing you to set administrator rights or set up user identification via an electronic ID card. A special key ring pendant with a transponder is utilized as an "ID card" to identify registered users with the meter. With a timeless, classy design the professional multiparameter benchtop meter's case reflects the top quality rating of the ProLab instruments. Housed in a solid metal body the meter's big and brilliant graphic display is protected by a one piece glass slide. The data can be stored on the multiparameter benchtop meters in seven selectable intervals from 1 second to 60 minutes in addition to being able to select the measuring parameters. Additionally the 32 MB of flash memory and 32 MB of RAM allow for a huge amount of data recordings, however if this is not enough memory a USB stick can be directly connected to the meter to increase the memory capacity.
