These are comfortable and appear to be solidly made. A day or two before ordering them, I bought some similar-looking Boye hooks from the store which had an unfortunate seam around the ergonomic handle. These hooks do not have the same issue. I am currently suffering from pregnancy carpal tunnel, but these are as kind to my hand as the expensive Clover Soft Touch hooks I love so much. The coating on them is firm but not hard, even though whenever I look at them I think they should be squishy. I don't mean this as a knock on the hooks themselves. I am VERY happy with the firmness, but if you are looking for a squishy handle you will not find it here.My only two quibbles, each of which is fairly minor: One, the size of the hook is etched into the handle rather than printed on, and there's nothing to make the imprint darker. So they're kind of hard to read (the pink one is the smaller one). They also have an enduring rubber stink to them that comes off on my hands. This has persisted for about three weeks now, though it *has* faded somewhat.

I like the hooks just fine however there were some manufacturing defects. The silicone mold marks were not completely cleaned up around the shaft and around the whole handle. The metal shafts had metal burrs left on them from the manufacturing process and could not be used. I work at a school and with the help of the Tech Ed (shop teacher), I was able to find some metal sandpaper to remove the burrs.Aside from the manufacturing defects, they're great hooks. I haven't made much with them, but they work nicely for my use. I have NOT tested them to see if the gauge is exact because I do not own other hooks of this size. I am unwilling to pay premium price, so I cannot compare these hooks to the name brand hooks that retail for a way higher price.The shaft extends all the way to the bottom of the handle- silicone grip so there's no chance the end of the handle will break off. They have the corresponding hook size stamped on the silicone handle at the bottom. My hook shafts and handle are inline. If you're still using oldschool thin shaft hooks, these are a million times better. They keep my hands from cramping up.These 2 hooks were under $10 when I purchased them. I wanted metal shafts on my hooks. Other manufacturers use polypropylene at this size of a hook. If you want perfect hooks, you will need to spend the money that equates to those perfect crochet hooks. I'm willing to overlook some manufacturing defects at this price.

First of all, my order arrived so fast! These are the perfect pair to complete my Ergonomic Crochet Hook set that didn't have these sizes in it. I was really pleased to find them available! Now I can crochet in comfort. I've had several surgeries on my hands and thumbs and these hooks make it possible for me to keep crocheting! i am so glad that you are making the larger size hooks available in the ergonomic crochet hook...i have been using this style of hook for a year now and found that my hands and fingers no longer hurt when i am crocheting...i use the larger hooks alot in blankets and scarves and its nice to have a choice..now for n and p hook (9,10) and my set will be complete. thank you again.

Great products, had a chance to whip up a hat for my niece with them this weekend. They are sturdy, well-made, and fit perfectly in a small cloth case that I had purchased which included a set of 2.00mm through 6.5mm ergonomic hooks. Though not a quality issue, I do wish that the colors were different as the other set I have has more jewel-tone colors in the handles so these pastels stick out like a sore thumb. But overall a good deal and a good purchase.

I don't like them as I think the hook space until the cover begins is way too short. That said, I am used to plain hooks and have an interesting crochet style

Love these crochet hooks. Quality product for a great price. I spent a lot of time researching different brands of ergonomic crochet hooks and am so happy that I chose the set from Two Twigs. I purchased the full set and also two of the larger hooks and couldn't be happier. The case is also lovely.

This is an added bonus to the set of hooks that I just bought. They feel good in the hand and very comfortable.
