The color is vibrant, a rich deep red, and the aroma is intense and delightful, that classic saffron scent. It's exactly what I expected from high quality saffron. I used it in a rice dish and a simple saffron milk. The flavor was intense but subtle, adding a lovely note without overpowering everything else. It colored the food beautifully too. A little definitely goes a long way. Considering the price, the small amount provided a noticeable improvement over cheaper alternatives I've used in the past.

It was warm, earthy, and slightly sweet – a really unique and inviting scent. It definitely smelled like high-quality saffron. I try to use natural ingredients in my cooking whenever possible, so knowing that this saffron is pure and hasn't been adulterated with other materials or artificial colors is a big plus. The vibrant color and aroma definitely suggest its purity.

Afghani Saffron is thought to be one of the best places for this spice.This has given us some lovely flavoured rice dishes.This comes in a nice plastic bottle, which is much larger than the quantity inside, but of course, this is to protect the stems from being broken and bruised.

I don't use saffron very often but some recipes call for it so it's handy to have.I've recently made a saffron rice and on top of a bit of colour it gave to my rice, it also delivered on taste.Slightly sweet and good colour - it gave this extra bit of different than usual aroma.I think the price is good and comparable to some shops' prices.

Deeper dark red than other saffron I have - very scented and strong. Good value for money, and as you would expect a little goes a long way.

I ordered this saffron as it is an item I use fairly regularly, in deserts as well as savoury dishes.This saffron arrives boxed, with all the important details clearly printed on the box, including the best before date, which is 9 months away. Inside is an interestingly shaped plastic bottle that holds the saffron itself. The stems appear to be good quality saffron, and are the colour, and scent of a good quality product.They have added a lovely distinct flavour and colour to the dish I've used them in so far, and I'm confident it's a good quality saffron, that is well priced, so I am very happy to recommend it.

From what I can tell this is the real deal - the world's dearest spice you get a gram carefully packaged. The colour and quality seem spot on and this decent value for money at £5.65 for a gram.It smells divine and a little goes a long way - nothing but pure saffron content in this package. Very pleased to have it added to my spice collection.
