Rivstart: A1+A2 ovningsbok

I don't care for it because it is all in Swedish. I wanted the book to be in Swedish and English.

I'm using to supplement my other textbooks for my Swedish classes. Great book.

The Rivstart series is fantastic!

I’m now in chapter 18 and still can’t talk about my body parts — but I’m supposed to read 3 sentences with new vocabulary words that I don’t know and somehow I’m supposed to sense a pattern about how the adjective for the noun is ending?! It’s ridiculous. They make you learn the word for nurse, which happens to be about the hardest word to say in Swedish, in the first chapter. I still don’t know basic words to express my opinion and why, or to even tell you generally about my hobbies, my body, my feelings, what I want to eat. All of the important grammar rules are written in Swedish (and so poorly at that) that there’s no comprehension of the material at all. There are no vocabulary lists at the beginning or end of each chapter, you just get to blunder through the text and reach for Google translate all the time. There are no answer keys for the workbook exercises. Which means I’m likely reinforcing the bad skills instead of the good ones by blindly filling in blanks with guesses that I can’t verify. You can only get the answer key if the teacher grants you access online. This book is a waste of paper and my time.

Good test book for a Swedish beginner.Many contents. I will try my best to learn this new language.

Un buen libro de sueco a un bien precio

E'il llibro usato nel mio corso, non facile da usare ma comunque con una costruzione atta a imparare lo svedese come è veramente usato e parlato oggi. Quindi in ogni caso molto utile e aderente alla contemporaneità.

Book is easy to use, easy to understand.Not too much grammatics at the beginning.Goes well with the audio too.
