Jane Carter Solution Incredible Curls, 8 Ounce

I've been a fan of Jane Carter products since I went natural over 10 years ago, and love that they use mostly natural ingredients. I discovered this stuff by accident and my goal was not "incredible curls" but moisture. I decided to try it on my 4b/4c coarse, thick, professionally highlighted, below-shoulder-length SisterLocked hair. My hair always tends to be on the dry side anyway and color - especially highlights - doesn't help the situation.Anyway. This stuff is,well... INCREDIBLE!! I apply a generous amount to coat well on freshly washed, very wet hair (as the directions instruct) and let it dry naturally. It feels very thick and rich, but doesn't seem to build up. Every other day I lightly mist my hair with some warm water and maybe use a quarter sized dollop of product finger-combed through my locs to style them in an up-do, or just hanging straight. It seems to make my locs more solidified and less fly-away, especially those few that haven't fully locked, so even unstyled, they just look neater. Also it makes my hair soft and manageable, and once it's dry there is no sticky residue on my hands. I like that it also adds a little weight too so that my hair "moves" more. I almost can't keep my hands out of my hair, I'm touching it all the time!I was glad to find it on Amazon at a better price than the pharmacy where I first found it. I have not yet tried this product after a roller set (which I do occasionally) so I may update this review. I'm thinking because of the heaviness of the product, curled SLs may not hold as well. But to basically have "wash-and-go", manageable, healthy hair, this product will now be a constant in my hair care arsenal.

Comes with smart instructions on the bottle that were definitely written by someone with curly hair; I love that because if you don't know, you don't know! So I started off with clean and conditioned (a rinse out) super wet hair and applied an amount that seemed reasonable for what I've got going on (shoulder length, fine but a lot of it, bleach-blonde so moderately damaged in areas, always frizzier at the top, 3a curls) which was about nickel-sized dollop. I combed it through and used a little more water to de-separate the curls and scrunched them with a microfiber turban thing (I have the Aquis one, it's pretty good quality and my hair dries in about 1/2 the time when I use it so I'm happy with it) and then tied the turban up for 15 mins or so to try and pull as much water out as I could. I gently removed the turban, re-scrunched, and used water to define any messed up curls and let it air dry for another couple hours. Then I just loosened some of the tighter ringlet areas and fluffed it for a second with my fingers and that was that--NO FRIZZ--curls stayed together and looked glossy and felt soft. I honestly don't think my hair has looked so good since high school. Very excited about this product and hope that everyone catches on so that it'll always be available!

works great for my curly/wavy/puffy/frizzy hair. Very natural look, none of that hard crunchy curls look from gel products. You don't need a lot. I put it on damp hair after showering. Smells incredible. I used to use hair serums before but I did not like that oily feeling on my hands that was hard to wash off after applying it to my hair. This product is more of a cream/lotion texture and slightly sticky but washes off your hands very easily. I also could tell a difference between this more natural product from the other non-natural popular hair products I was using before bc my hair starting falling out less. Overall I'm very satisfied with it and will purchase it again.

What an incredible product! If you want to take really good care of your curls this product is amazing. So far it is my favorite curl cream. It is not heavy on your hair, alcohol, sufate, paraben and silicone-FREE so residual is minimal. I use it for my LOC (if you are into curls but are not familiar with the LOC system google it, it's great!) and the results are amazing. I can't praise this product enough!

It works incredibly well for holding curls and reducing frizz without too much heaviness. Only thing I don't care for is the smell of it

I have 3C and 4A hair. I put Incredible Curls on my hair when it is soaking wet. When my hair dries my curls are defined and shiny. People often touch my hair to see if it’s greasy or hard (I assume because it’s shiny) but find out that it is soft and smooth.

I love how this product works on my curls. I gave it 3 stars because of how great it works but be careful storing it. I bought 2 tubes so I wouldn't run out. When I went to use the 2nd tube the cream turned to liquid. Not thinner cream but runny liquid. I've stored many hair products before and this has NEVER happened. I live in California so we don't get hot or humid weather too often. Plus the cabinet that it was stored in is away from light and heat. I used it any way hoping it would still work but no go. I'll be tossing it in the trash.

This product works. I’m in my 60’s and have used a great number of curl product over the years. This product defines and helps control the curl. I’ve reordered it several times. Added bonus, it does not make your hair stiff. Great results without the stiffness.Prompt shipping, as well

Love this product. I was watching curly hair videos and this product was recommended and I had to try it! And it's everything is says it is!! It works great wether I diffuse my hair or air dry! No crispy hair and light non-frizzy curls/waves
