I bought these as a picture light and shelving unit light for the dining room, but I specifically asked the seller if they were dimmable and received a positive reply. I have now fitted the lights, and after wiring them up and buying a specific led compatible dimmer switch,(I have dimmable led lights throughout the kitchen and breakfast area), they do not dim, merely flicker on and off.What they do do, is offer 3 light variations, warm white cool white, and another somewhere inbetween, achieved by switching them on and off quickly, but all at full brightness.On a positive note, they are a neat, nicely finished and look good in place.I can't return them as i drilled holes into the main body to fit them slightly differently. I should have checked the dimming capability before doing this, but after specifically asking, I thought I was safe.Incidentally, I bought a 4th which didn't work, but returning it was not an issue.

I've converted this item to a smart light. I had a few smart life 220 switches so I took all electronics from there and put them into this item. 220v is coming from the wall, So I could not put a routine for that light or ask Alexa to turn it off. The quality of light is good.
