Boomerang Eco-Friendly Interior Paint, Eggshell Finish (Azure)

This is great paint. You do have to mix it A LOT (10 min+) at first to really get the paint to a syrupy consistency otherwise its very watery. The color is amazing, very true to what is advertised, it does look lighter and shiny until it dries all the way then its dark and almost matte. The payoff is great, I only did two coats, first one covered pretty well (it was over cream and black paint) so I only did a second to even any streaks and spots I missed. Its doesn’t take too long to dry and honestly the smell isn’t that bed. Smells like paint, but definitely paint in a well ventilated space. It didn’t seep under any of the painter’s tape I laid down and wipes off surfaces really easy with a wet towel (I kind of got it here and there). I ended up using about 1/2 (little less) of the can, but I poured more than I actually ended up needing so I could have used less. Its overall a very nice paint and color that I would recommend if you’re looking for a dark, deep, vibrant foresty green.

I felt in this case it was important to post some feedback as a result of some of the comments I have read. It is very important to understand what you are buying; and many of the comments make it obvious many who have bought this were expecting paint like what was suggested when they were in Lowes or Home Depot. Additionally, it IS true this paint has a different smell that caught me off-guard. I wouldn't say it's terrible, but be aware it sticks around for a few days; so plan to open some windows and endure a few days of small. In the end, the result is great! I will update my review with pictures when we have finished the rest of the room (we had additional work, then more painting).This is a traditional single coat paint. Often times we purchase "Paint with Primer" in stores, but we need to understand a few things about "Paint with Primer".- Home Depot / Lowes are selling their Paint with Primer for nearly double the price of this paint.- Paint with Primer actually contains no primer (think about the physics of rolling primer below paint.... without first rolling primer then paint). It is in fact thick paint that equals out to nearly a double coat of standard paint (such as this).Knowing that, I found this boomerang paint provided good coverage for what paint it was and I believe the following tips will help you decide if this is the right paint for you and find success using it:If you are painting over a similar color you should achieve full coverage with 2 coats.If you are painting over a dissimilar lighter color you should achieve full coverage with 3 coats.If you are painting a light color over a dark color, prime first.....

This paint is amazing! I read the reviews and thought I’d try it so I don’t have to brave the Home Depot and wow! I bought two gallons and could easily have done two coats with just one. Covers great, spread easily, beautiful color-I am so happy. It smells like regular paint and I just made sure to mix it well before starting and it was perfect. I will definitely use this paint again.

Paint is a little watery at first but works really well after stirring. Just be sure to stir really really well for at least a couple of minutes. You’ll definitely have to do two coats for even coverage unless you prime first. But considering the price, it really is good paint. Also, some reviews say it has a really weird smell, that’s not true at all, I mean it smells like paint (obviously). However, I think it’s low odor, as the paint smell doesn’t stick around long, especially if you keep a window open. All in all it works great and is an awesome price point. I’m painting my entire house; kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry room, three bedrooms, bathroom and powder room, all using this paint (in various colors) and it really makes it more cost effective compared to some brands that charge $55 and up per gallon.

Good quality painting, smells very strong thou... So I recommend you to paint with a face mask, the smell went away in 2 days.It has a very good coverage, I just had to pass it one time and it already looked great 👍🏽. I would recommend it, but I bought other white paint from Walmart at half of the price of this one and it looked good too, but if you don’t have a Walmart near by, I would totally recommend this one

This paint is terrible!!! Even after 3 years on the wall, it bleeds into whatever touches it! Only months after applying, it rubbed off in several areas exposing the previous paint. And now, just when I was so excited to repaint the room with a high quality paint/primer combo, the deep blue bane to my existence starts melting into the new paint, causing a blue hue throughout the entire room with blue streaks and specks!!!!! I can’t get rid of it!!!!! Buyer beware, save yourself the nightmare and go to your local home improvement store for good paint!

I am not a professional, so take that for what it is. I've seen a lot of complaints about the smell, but I dont think it smelled any differently then any other paint. Seemed to provide coverage with one coat and went far. Unfortately, if you happen to spray Febreeze in its direction and get it on the wall, it leaves what look like deep blue water stains. When I wipe them off, it litterally rubs the paint away (had to repaint areas) which makes me question how long it will last. I am greatly saddened by this, because I do really love the color. If you are painting on a budget, I would still recommend this but with caution.

I cannot believe the number of bad reviews this paint has been given. You can't please everyone. I really liked it. Especially the eggshell finish. It did smell a little bit much than what I'm used to but it was easy to apply and loved the results I really hate painting but this paint has made it less annoying. It's cheap and the best part I don't have to stand in line to get paint.
