Läufer Rondella Elastic X-Band 500 g Box 80x11 mm/50 mm Ø

I love the neat design, of these funky-coloured, super-useful & versatile bands. Since I was a small child, I've been obsessed with stationery - actually, calling it a fetish, would be nearer the mark. My father managed a stationery store on the Pearl of The Gulf - Bahrain - we would regularly receive a ton of all sorts of items, on his return home. My fetish for stationery, it's not the only thing I blame him for, but, I digress. A review on a notebook (that had no band attached to secure it) led me here & to that reviewer, I am most grateful.I really don't understand people whinging about the price of these. I know we're in a cost-of-living crisis - my car insurance went up 72% & I've never had an accident/ made a claim. But, I think the price of these bands is actually pretty good, for what they are. They are as they appear to be - no ordinary elastic band. I bought the 30g can (it's a plastic box), of assorted bands - because, I like that there are different sizes of band in that option - perfect for experimenting ;0) For me, they are as fun to use, as they are fun to look at.Now, many boxes, that were inadequately-held-closed, with a bog-standard band (saved from around multiple-parcel deliveries by Royal Mail), are much-more-neatly & securely, held closed. A pencil tin, that I use to protect my large smart-phone in my very-heavy handbag, had long-since been crushed & no longer closed properly. I have a yellow one of these holding it closed, so I can continue to use the tin, until it is completely destroyed/ no longer able to protect the 'phone. A small memo-block, the spine of which has come away from the back of it & collapsed, is being very-nicely-held-together, by one of these bands. A favourite CD, the case-hinges of which are broken, is still being protected by that case, because of another of these bands. They look & feel durable. They are rubber, but there's something different about them, that makes them feel heavy-duty. Still, exposing them to oil/ extreme temperatures/ sunlight, is not advised.The uses for these bands, are almost limitless. I hate parting with cash to replace broken things. I'm one of those people, that is always trying to find ways to re-use, re-purpose & recycle things - I should have been born in the middle of last century - the "make-do & mend" generation, produced much less waste/ refuse. This throw-away generation/ society, is not one I like being part of. I will be buying more of these next week, now I know the sizes & what they are good for. No doubt, I will be buying these a few times a year, as I find new uses for them. Even if you don't have a stationery fetish, I think you'll find them useful! I recommend most highly, these superb bands.

I use these a lot to keep my files & folders in order & to stop bits of paper slipping out. The rubber doesn’t seem to degrade over time like ordinary elastic bands. I find these really useful.

The strength of the rubber bands is greater than I had expected. Works fine with say 50 sheets, but with anything less,the strength of their bands rolls up the paper rather than just binds them in neat piles.There are thinner bands available, and depending on what is to be grouped, the strength of the rubber bands must be considered.

Hell yeah these are the ones excellent. Use for my board games.

I don't know how long they will last, but the XL size fits board game boxes well - something like Scythe would be too big for the bands, while small box games like The Resistance would be too small. Most other boxes of various shape will typically fit. I can't speak to their longevity yet

More rubberbands than I thought. Not as elastic as I would like so it is important to get the size right.

These X-Bands are fantstic. I bought a box prior to this from another manufacturer which didn't last more than a few uses! But these are great, they have withstood some heavy usage and showed no signs of wear and tear ! Even when used as catapults (men!) They also come in a range of lovely bright colours, really cheer my task of filing up.

Have been looking for these for filing pages/documents. So useful.

Son muy bonitas, vienen bien empaquetadas en una cajita muy mona y las hay de varios colores, pero son frágiles. Se rompen con facilidad. Útiles para objetos voluminosos si no esperas gran durabilidad.
