This is a nice little kit, I've used it to do setups on several guitars and it works as described. Not the highest quality tools, but great value for the price and they work fine for basic lutherie.

I bought this during covid when I was upgrading several electric guitars. The fret hammer (which I used for several little adjustments not just frets), the fret protectors (for filing), and the fret rocker were all perfectly usable and justified the cost alone. Files and the like were not ideal but they work . If you are going to do serious fretwork I suggest you buy a professional grade file but even with that I pull this kit out often to address small issues with my guitar and I have gotten a fair return on my small investment.

You certainly get what you pay for, but I wasn't looking for a lot in the first place. Not super high quality. All I was interested in were the hammer and the rocker. Good enough to do the job I wanted to do.

The hammer is a bit cheap. But it does the job. Everything else is good for someone doing there on setups.

I got into luthier work only recently, and I needed this type of hammer to do the delicate job of notching the new bridge on a Gibson electric guitar. The tools in this kit are perfect for the guitarist looking to do his/her own repair and rehab of old guitars. One job will save more than five times the cost of the kit. Buying a higher grade assortment of these tools -- like the brands used by professionals -- is very expensive. For the occasional repair job, this really hits the spot. The hammer will last forever, as it's indestructible at the workbench, but the other tools might wear out over time. I'd definitely buy this again.

The threads on the first hammer were defective but it's replacement is pretty good for it's price point.

Es un paquete muy sencillo, pero funciona bien. Nora herramienta de lujo, eso es importante decirlo, tal vez si eres un luthier muy exigente te queden a deber, pero si no las usas tanto, si construyes poco o estás aprendiendo, es una manera económica de tener herramienta funcional.

Estás herramientas te ayudarán a hacer los trabajos que quieras hacer a tu guitarra pero la calidad es relativa al precio por lo que no son herramientas de alta precisión y no recomendaría su uso en guitarras de alto valor
