Lemige3 Pack HC14 Filter E Compatible with HC-14 Series HC-14V1 HC-14 HC-14N, Models HCM-6009 HCM-6011 HEV680 HEV685 Series

I purchased this for my Honeywell room humidifier that uses filter E. These work well, but they are a little too tall for my humidifier. I had to cut off approximately 1" around the top so it would fit. Other than that, it works as it's supposed to.

I needed a filter for my humidifier and the details on your site says these filters are for our unit. It it actually about 1/2" too high/tall for the unit. I did not want to go to the trouble to return the filter and order different ones, so I used a scissors to cut off the 1/2", so it would fit the unit. I also noticed that they are not as thick as the original filter, so I don't believe they will be as effective as the original filter. Have not had time to determine this yet.Do not buy this filter if you have the Honeywell HEV685 Series humidifier!

Once we use up the three filters in this purchase, we won't buy again. They are noticeably thinner than the Honeywell brand ones. Don't know how long they will last compared to those.

These filters do not hold up. After two weeks of us the filter was covered in black mold. The base of my humidifier is cleaned weekly as are the reservoirs. Previous filters I have purchased lasted a month or better with no mold growth.

Do not fit my HC-14 series humidifier. Wish I had tried it in the unit earlier. Too difficult for me to trim.
