I’m a huge fan of just about everything that Fantagraphics publishes. They have great taste, no doubt. Matt Furie’s latest is no exception. The cover has a nice puffy feel to it, with a nice holofoil accented title on the front. Always A+ presentation with Fantagraphics. The art is, as expected, wonderful to look through; it also showcases the evolution of Matt’s style. In a way, this book looks more painterly, and is very much an ‘art book’. I ordered this book only days after I found out about it.One thing about buying collectible books from Amazon, is that they rarely arrive in ‘minty’ condition. They don’t really put much thought into the packaging—as expected; they don’t have the time to put into it, processing and shipping things so quickly to provide the Amazon NOW experience. But overall, this book arrived in decent shape.Very much worth every penny!

I'm not an informed critic of art, but I enjoy collecting and looking at art books. This one features lots of interesting-looking creatures that are fun to think about. What is life like for a family of people with hamburger heads? These characters are all posed in various ways that imply relationship and personality. I'd like to write a back story for each one of them!

I love your creations they really jive with that sort of stickerbomb street art style, but in a way that feels sprawling and cohesive. A joy to read/view
